When is it time to break things off?

I've been thinking about this lately, and I'm wondering:

When do you personally feel like it's time to end a relationship?

When communication just hits a constant standstill, like you feel neither of you are really hearing the other. When there is abuse (obviously, but that one is a toughy). When there is just too much coming between the two of you. Or maybe, quite plainly, when there just is no love anymore.

For me the biggest determining factor has been in how much I wanted to see the person. When I start dreading spending time with my significant other, it's time to find a new significant other, or at least no longer see that one.

This! If you dread turning the knob on your front door or dread hearing the keys in the door, it's time to move on.

I feel like it's time when there's no possible way to fix the issue that is making you want to break up, if there's no other path to take or action to do

I make pro/con lists. If the cons come out ahead it's time to end it.
