We met when I first moved to Wisconsin. He was the first person I met here through my ex-husband actuallly. Were good friends for a long time and here we are now together for over two years, have known each other for nearly eight.

through a friend at school, her school not mine, i was shadowing her. she liked him then, although when he met me, he liked me instantly it took another few months of talking online before i started to like him, but we have been together for more than 3 years now.

We hung out/traveled in the same social circle for years before our circumstances aligned and we started dating. We'd been looking at other for years, though, at the same parties and thinking for various reasons we wouldn't be interested in each other (plus we both seemed to be always dating/involved with other people up until the time we started dating).
