How can I get my boyfriend to relax enough to do role play? He likes it but he is so uptight when it comes to sex. What do I do??

Some alcohol usually does the trick. Don't overdo, though.

Start with little things too. Maybe asking him to do some of the things his role would do so you can both become comfortable with it before introducing costumes and whatnot?

Have you asked him about it? There's no reason to include alchohol or anything else if you haven't asked him about it all. Maybe he's had a bad experience in his past that makes him cautious about sex. Communication is the best way to solve all problems.

Try to find out what he's not completely comfortable with. It might just be that it's new to him, or it might be something else.
