Jealousy as a turn on

Contributor: trios trios
Does anyone find that jealous feelings actually turn them on?

For me, it was weird to explain that the fantasy of her pleasuring/ being pleasured by another guy was actually jealous feelings. The jealousy is strongly mixed with heart-pounding excitment! For me they are inseparable. Is this rare, or do others experience the same thing!

When I'm jealous I am usually angry and probably the opposite of turned on. Jealousy does make my heart rate increase, but I have never found this pleasurable. Guess I'll pay more attention next time lol.

I don't like being jealous, at all, it just makes me upset, but I'll admit when my partner gets a little jealous/possessive, I do quite like it as long as they're not too upset and it's more a "I want to take you to bed and fuck you until I feel properly like you're all mine again."

I do not like being jealous either. More of a turn off to me.

For me there is such thing as too much. For instance, during dirty talk my wife mentioned that given the chance if it were ever okay to, she would rather be alone with another guy instead of having me there. I think that may be too intense, and that would bother me.
But if I am present to share her experience, it is more of a mixture between the jealousy and excitment- knowing the she is getting a new experience that she never had!

Thin lines, here.
I don't find pleasure in jealousy, but I DO like an edge of competition. If someone else catches my sweethearts attention, I become very focused and competitive, but it is in a good nature, because I know there isn't a competition on his part (maybe its called 'protecting your territory'; pardon the objectification). Jealousy is the feeling that sits in the bottom of my stomach and makes me hateful, spiteful, and angry. I don't want to talk, be touched, or listen. Jealous, for me, is a very bad thing.

Yes! I think there is definitely something about competition here. My wife in no ways likes to feel jealous either.

Maybe because I'm a guy that this competitiveness activates me somehow. I do see talk of competitive sperm in animal studies. I wonder how guys would answer this.

Ask your husband/boyfriend/SO/p artner/etc. Am I just plain weird?

I do not get jealous. But when I am angry, I become very ravenous and turned on. It brings out my more sadistic side.

I can understand liking adrenaline. But FUCK, I wouldn't want to get it from that. And seeing my guy fuck another women wouldn't be jealousy...that would probably be rage.

But for me jealousy isn't something I feel often or even seldom. It's rare and it doesn't really bother me much.

I agree - upsets me too. But I do like a partner getting jealous/possessive. To me it shows they care enough.

Well, I wouldn't really call it jealousy, but the idea of another woman wanting my man turns me on. But, it's kind of the "she wants him but can't have him and I can" thing that turns me on...so...not really jealousy..but I think it's kind of related because some women might be jealous if another woman made it obvious that she wants their man...for me it just makes me hotter for him.

Jealousy is not good. No turn on for me.
It's best to avoid it.

Jealousy is not a turn on to me. I get pissed off and I certainly do not want to have sex or even think about sex when I am mad.

In doing more research, I have found that the new term 'compersion' is probably what I mean...

Jealousy usually starts as the ugly green monster for me. It just makes me a bad person. Only sometimes can I calm myself down and try to turn it into some productive. Asking myself questions such as "Why does this make me so jealous?". I try to use it to make myself a better person...but sometimes...some dry wall dies.
