Length of the fantasy

Contributor: DreamWolf DreamWolf
I heard that, when fantasizing away, females tend to build a whole story around the thing dreamed about, while for males it's often enough just to think of a body part... (I guess it also depends on it if you are a more masculine or feminine person...)

How's it going in your case?

Hmm. I'm not sure. I guess I'm more "story-oriented". I can't just think of a set of boobs or a vagina and masturbate to that. I think about a situation, like a threesome or dominating another woman. Stuff like that.

Really depends.

While in the act, I've never really thought about a plot-based fantasy.

However, I write and write plots not just "boobs butts boobs nipple toe boobs".

I need the plot around it to be at all interested, really.

I need at least some small story to get me going. Sometimes it's something short and very much an "excuse plot," while at other times it's a lot longer and more in-depth.

Myself I can go sooooooooooooooo far into the plot, that it is much more about what is happening on the psychological level, and the rest is just a needed flavor...

Though it's rather "dreaming away", I barely ever end up doing anything else then just running the thoughts for hours before I could fall asleep (they keep me up as hell too, but I can very hardly shut my brain out and just stop thinking about whatever is rambling around... ) - and of course it happens sometimes too that they are sooooooooo delicious that I gotta manage to do something related, or I will be trembling for a long while before settling down...

But yep, in my case such fantasies are far more about the atmosphere and intentions, feelings lying behind the acts, so it is fuckin pleasant just to get stuck at parts barely erotic, but extremely psychological... ^^

Oh, oh, and agreed...

Sometimes, while in the act of mating, I just think of something yummmy too, and other times the yummmy thing has a story behind it, but I don't imagine the story because I already know how it went, so the actual "happenings" are in the focus... ^^

Story for me. I get bored otherwise.

When fantasizing I usually have a whole plot/story.

There's never a big plot or backstory in my fantasies, but there are details like setting and clothing and things usually progress very slowly and vividly for me.

Same here with the progressing, I have noticed that on minor things I can get stuck sooo easily cause I enjoy them so much!

I get into the story behind it. It's not always extremely detailed, but I think the story makes it more enjoyable for me.

In my case I don't usually build up a whole story or anything. I either end up not aroused or fall asleep so I focus on the more hardcore aspects and generally rush to the intercourse part of my fantasies.

I totally have a plot around all of my fantasies. Giving myself a 'character' makes it more fun for me. I'm also a huge fan or erotic literature, which I suppose is pretty logical!

I'm a guy and my fantasies always involve scenarios. The "stories" could be detailed and long, or short and immediate, but there are always scenarios and not just some body part.

I already posted, but I wanted to say something about my husband -- He has many scenarios that he told me about after I mentioned this post. Apparently it makes it more exciting to him.

I usually fantasize about a thought out scenario/story with plot to get aroused, but once I'm in the act, that sort of falls away and I find I'm not thinking of anything in particular.

I don't really ever need a plot for my fantisies.

I sometimes (or rather, often) use my sexual fantasies as a falling-asleep tactic, largely because it works pretty well for that purpose most of the time.

For a longer fantasy, I usually have to build up most of the story while I'm doing other things, like cruising the internet or working, and fast forward to the good parts when I'm ready to play. That said, the good parts that have had a whole day of thought behind them tend to be the most fulfilling, while the quick, on-the-fly fantasies are just there to get me hot in a hurry.

I'm more like a woman then in that I usually build up a scenario rather than just a body part, though I have done that on occasion as well.

Long involved stories are boring. I always skip right to the sex. But it's usually sex with a power dynamic. It's not just imagining body parts. I don't really get off on visuals. Dirty words really do it for me though. I'll repeat certain phrases or variations of them over and over in my head when I'm getting close to orgasm.
