Would you like it if your lover called you a goddess?

I do not like that at all, and my partner has said that before but he understands my feelings on it and does not do that anymore

No there are other things I'd much rather her call me. Over the years, certain romantic and sensual words have been used to convey the emotional love we have for each other while in the moment!

On one hand, yes: I would absolutely LOVE it, but at the same time, it depends on the context. I don't like feeling as if I've been put up on a pedestal by a partner, because I've been with many guys who have done so, only to become strangely upset with me when they begin to notice that I'm just human.

I don't think I'd like it at all if a guy called me that. It sounds really cheesy and I think I'd just get embarrassed.

Absolutely, I would be honored. I've considered having him call me Goddess instead of Miss or Mistress, when we are ready for heaver play that requires such titles. Can you imagine? "Yes, Goddess." *swoons*

Have been by my ex-husband. I began to suspect it was one of his passive-aggressive pokes at my Paganism by year two of marriage (firmly entrenched in celibacy) and it eventually fell by the wayside when he finally tired of it. Was called a 'Bitch Goddess' by various other people in my 20's.

It would be odd for Master to call me a Goddess (as the most romantic he's ever addressed me as is 'sweetheart'), but I know he'd sincerely mean it if he did say it.

I wouldn't care for it now. It's a lovely term of endearment and power, but I no longer seek such titles of esteem.

It would only be okay in some circumstances since I don't identify as female, but I like calling both of my partners goddesses and they enjoy being called such.

I voted no and also other...I would not like it if he called me that directly, because it just sounds weird to me and it's not his style. But if her referred to me as one to someone else, that's different and might be nice.

This one guy I used to know occasionally did. I thought it was sweet. Nobody else has, but I wouldn't be against it.

My partner is a service submissive and loves to call me "goddess" as part of his role but he respects the fact that it is a lower case "g". I am a goddess since I carry Her spark within me...so ya I like it.

I think I would prefer another name. goddess just sounds weird, but maybe it would be different coming from him.
