Have you ever written a review with or had your significant other write one with you?

I have been playing with the idea of writing a review with my current boyfriend. I think it could help spice things up with one another. I was wondering who else had tried this and if you would recommend it.

I always ask for my partner's input on my reviews. He sometimes makes really astute observations with both toys and lingerie. He'll notice that with a certain toy, it seemed to take me longer, that it was louder, etc. He's great with lingerie reviews too, so I can include the male's perspective about different pieces I do. We have a lot of fun with it!

Wow i really like that. I want to start including my guy more because he's really into me doing reviews but I want him to try a bit to.

I would like to have more of his input, but it's like getting blood from a stone. He'll usually just say yes or no when I ask him questions about products, and if I'm lucky he'll say a sentence or two about it.

The main review Ive written involving his opinion was for the Lelo Tor, since I felt the male's opinion was very important in a cock ring review. He'll also give me opinions on massage oils, although the only thing he seems to really care about is the smell. He'll let me know what he thinks of the scents of bath or lip products too. I try to get his opinions on lubes, but he usually just thinks they're all "fine." He just used lotion before I gave him lube, so he's not very picky about what he uses.

Same here. I always ask his opinion, but he never really sits down and writes it with me.

My husband is pretty neutral on a lot of things, so I do ask his opinion on everything but I don't always get super helpful answers. Stuff like "it's a condom, nothing super special" and "oh you got a new lotion? I had no idea." and stuff like that, lol.

I do always ask his opinion on everything and try to get enough of it to include in a review, although that doesn't always seem to happen. He's expressed no interest in writing reviews of his own.

I put no and don't want to. but I didn't mean to I clicked the wrong one and didn't realize until afterwards. I plan on writing a review with him here in the next few days when we try out our new head kits

I ask my wife how she enjoyed the toys or products we review. However, we don't work collaboratively together very well. It would be like trying to write a cooperative movie review...it just wouldn't work well.

I have this problem too. I get "it's okay" or "it's fine" about 90% of the time. I've started making him use 1-5 star rankings, but then everything gets a 3 and he can't say why it's not a 4 or 5. Ugh! I gave up on his input on my own products a while back. I do, however, still review products that he uses and he has a bit more opinion on those. I have to wrench it from him, but I get it at least. LOL

One of my reviews is for a toy belonging to my husband so of course I have. I wouldn't say I loved it OR hated it. Just sorta ... did it! He's getting pretty good at thinking about all aspects of toys in terms of reviewing.

My husband often gives his input, especially for things like cock rings, massage things and lingerie. But, I always use his response to vibrators and dildos as well. He doesn't pay much attention to bath and beauty things. He doesn't write any of them just tells me what he thinks. Then I interpret.

I voted yes and hated it. I am in the process of doing this right now. It has taken over 2 weeks and I still haven't got it done. I need him to do it, otherwise it would be done. I will get it done, but I am never doing this again.

I have used him before in reviews, but this is a complete review about him and it is impossible to do. He is too picky.

My husband and I do this with all his toys. We play with all our items together, so we should include each other in the reviews. Most of the time, I type while he talks. (Yeah, he has the easy job, lol.) I did let him write a couple of the reviews but for the most part it is about 65% MY reviews, 38% OUR reviews and 2% HIS reviews. For input and working together, I mean!

90+% of the toys are used exclusively by my wife. I write my reviews by observing her reactions and asking her opinions. It's a good excuse to get her to try new new things - so you are right it's a good way to spice things up.

Nope, I haven't. He has his own account but isn't big into writing. I'd be happy to consult with him if he ever wanted to join in though.

We have not written one together, but I have shared my postings and the results. It turns out just fine because we are usually very open and honest and try not to keep anything from one another.

We always write them together. It allows us to discuss the toy and if we did/didn't like and even things we want to try. Highly recommend it!
