Does your husband/male partner like anal penetration?

Contributor: Unconventional Unconventional
Hubby #1 is a little weirded out by it, so he can't get comfortable enough to relax and enjoy it. Hubby #2 and I have a strap-on harness and he loves it. I actually just posted in another thread how we got into anal play, oddly enough...

My guy won't let any part of me or anything else near his butthole. Ever. Ever ever ever. *sigh*

Poor baby doesn't know what he's missing out on

I can't blame him, really. I mean it does hurt at first.

It shouldn't hurt, unless you're doing it wrong or trying to take too much too fast.

If he doesn't want it though there's not much you can do. Just do things that you like and that he likes, and maybe he'll let you play down there eventually.

Just answered for my wife. It's not a regular part of our bedroom play. Unfortunately, my wife started working third shift so coordinating extended (ie anything other than a quickie) play time requires planning ahead a bit and is something we don't do as often as I'd like anymore...

My husband and I are grossed out by anal. He has never tried it and he doesn't want. I have never tried it and don't want to.

My hubbs told me very matter-of-factly that the backdoor is clearly marked "exit only" on him. Like he'll jump and shoo me away if I even go touching the perineum on him, which during the couple times he didn't notice that's where I was (otherwise engaged somehow) he liked. Pfft. Doesn't know what he's missing.

Probably too tied up with the myths: "it's yucky" "it hurts" "it's 'gay' and degrading for a man to do that" "if you try that the car blows a head gasket". Sadly these subconscious things are very hard to change.

He likes it, we're just starting to experiment with it for him. He has Crohn's disease (a chronic digestive problem) so he's still kind of iffy about anal play. We're just being super careful & taking it slow, that's the best way

My husband looovvvves it! He says having a butt plug in while he is penetrating my vagina gives him a more intense orgasm.

My boyfriend likes the anal toys we have tried. At first he was unsure about the idea, though now that he has tried it, he likes it a lot.

My partner so loves it as well. He also says his orgasms are stronger with a butt plug in place.

A man enjoying anal penetration has nothing to do with "being gay." I don't understand people who insist on saying this. It frustrates me, too.

My Man doesn't like it, because he doesn't like it and in our relationship HE does the penetrating, (we have a moderately D/S relationship, and have for a very long time) and my penetrating him just doesn't mesh with our dynamic. BUT, it has nothing to do with him thinking anything is "gay."

He's the Dom and honestly, it wouldn't even occur to me to attempt to penetrate him.

However, I do understand that every relationship has it's own dynamic and what we do isn't universal. A lot of men like it, it is good for the prostate (I can get at his from under his balls, during a blow job and he likes that, but that's as far as it goes) and I think people should do in bed what they enjoy, and continue to experiment.

According to the "it's gay" logic then men who enjoy blowjobs should be worried as well. If statistics are anything to go on they're even more popular in the gay world than anal play is.

If anal play is gay because gay people often enjoy anal play, and gay people often enjoy blowjobs, then blowjobs are also gay, correct?

Can be but doesn't have to, in fact I much prefer it when it isn't gross and take steps to "de-gross" the experience whenever possible.

Oops! I read that wrong. Mine loves giving anal penetration. But he's very so so on getting it. So far it really hasn't done much for him.

My husband doesn't like anything in his butt, which is ironic, because I like to use a strap-on. I just don't use it on him.

He likes it, but I have no desire to actually peg him with a strap-on. Plugs and handheld toys are enough.

Anal play does not require that you peg or are working up to pegging (or penile-anal intercourse for that matter).

My husband is in the same boat as yours. He likes prostate stimulation, but the idea of pegging or penetrating any deeper than the second knuckle on my forefinger, I think scares him. He says if that is something I want, he'd do it, but I don't play that way. I think it is very important to have some sort of desire yourself, in order to go there. I keep reading and wishlisting toys for him to ponder. Maybe some day.

For me there are two aspects to anal play for men. Prostate stimulation is the obvious one - but for me the pressure of a dildo - preferable a moderately sized glass one feels quite nice gliding in and out. I started with the small end of the Cyberglass Four-way G link then went to the slightly larger Lucid Heart link but my favorite is the Silenzio link - the ripples are great!

Funny story - I recently bought the Eos by Luxotiq link which my wife is dying to try out. Little does she know I bought it for me! I think the small end will make for good prostate stimulation while the body will give me the pressure I love.

Help your guy stretch (pun intended) his horizons!

Synthetik would run for the hills if I ever suggested penetrating him anally. That, and it honestly wouldn't do anything for me anyway, even if he did like the thought.

No, lol, if anyone is to be anally penetrated, it'd be him penetrating me, lol. I personally love anal penetration, but I know that anal penetration for him is definitely a hard limit/no-no, lol
