I've often thought that when my partner and I get married, we may hit that patch where things seem to slow down and the spark starts to die down. I'm starting to think that such a think happening is really just a natural part of forming a life long relationship with someone, but onto the point.

I've brought up several times that if we were to ever reach that area in our relationship where we felt the need to, "spice things up," that perhaps a bit of roleplay could come to our assistance.

Have you ever thought of roleplaying out meeting your partner at a bar or club or social event and pretending as if it's the first time you've ever met them? Personally, I find it ridiculously hot! The idea of bringing them home and having an intimate night together and reigniting what it was you felt when you first met them all over again.

Thoughts on the potential of this being fun in a marriage or relationship?

I have seen this idea posted before. My wife and I have even discussed it, but we have yet to follow through. I do feel like it has potential to be hot.

The only problem I have with it is neither of us are one night stand kind of people. To pretend we are would probably be more comedy than spicy. Also, it would be strange to bring the roleplay back to our house and our bedroom. I suppose you could get a hotel room, but that would be taking it to a different level.

The good thing is we could talk a little dirtier from the start, because there would not be a huge risk of turning someone off that isn't on the same page. So, it does seem like an idea that could energize a long term relationship. I do think we might try this one day, just hasn't happened yet.

Roleplaying is very common. It's best to start simple with things around the house that you have on hands. The best example to start with is perhaps a masseuse and patron and then you can move on to more involved scenes like high class call girls and businessmen (or vice versa!). Finally, if you get really into it, then you can move on to costumes or props and they're plenty here to buy on EF too.

There are lots of different ways to roleplay, what do you and your partner think is hot? That would be the ideal way to begin a roleplay scenario because one or both of your are turned on by the idea. Picking them up in a bar could be a great way, listen to what they like and what you enjoy and you'll do great.
