Do You Think the Product Flavor/Scent Should Be Included in the Title?

Contributor: evie.amor evie.amor
When I'm trying to decide on which flavored lube or scented product to get, I really appreciate it when the flavor/scent is included in the title of the review. It makes it so much easier for me and is less time consuming than having to skim through every review to find which specific flavor or scent that person reviewed.

I'm curious; how many other people feel this way? Would you like people to put the flavor/scent in their title?

YES! More reviewers should put the flavor/scent that they're reviewing in their title!

I feel the same way, including when it comes to lingerie reviews where several sizes are available. However, I don't think it should be an enforced requirement or anything strict like that; for me it's simply a preference.

I love it when a reviewer puts the flavor/scent in the title!!!! It makes it so much easier to go to the reviews for a specific product, instead of having to look through every single one.

I wish they would when it's applicable. I mean, different flavors and scents are different!

It does make it easier to find reviews on the exact scent/flavor that you're looking for. But I'm guilty of not doing it either.

I don't think it should be mandatory or anything, I was just trying to decide on a flavored lube yesterday and it was taking me forever to go through the 50 something reviews on the product! I thought to myself "Dang, you know what would make this easier.. if people would put the flavor in their title!" I know when you're writing a review sometimes you might not think about that, and that's totally cool.. I'm just happy there are reviews to read! BUT, If they could make up a jazzy title and put the flavor too in parenthesis perhaps, I'd be over the moon.

I just thought I'd post a poll and maybe it'd make people think about it.

Either way this site is great, thanks all of you guys for keeping it sexy and fun!

I agree, sometimes i want to know how the scent is for a massage product and it would be much easier than sifting through reviews to try and find a review that at the very least mentions the fragrance i am looking for. I agree evie.amor, it doesnt need to be mandatory but it's a nice thing to add and makes it easier for people researching products.

It should definitely be mentioned more in the title or at least the summary so as not to have to scroll through the entire review only to realize that that's not a product you actually want.

I like it, but people might be reviewing more than one.

I don't really care if the flavor is mentioned in the title but it should be mentioned somewhere in the review. Since I tend to buy all of a line of flavored products mentioning them all in the title would be strange!

I prefer it. As an extension of this idea, I LOVE it when lingerie reviewers put the size they bought in the title as well, so I can easily find info regarding the sizing. So many reviewers take such excellent measurements and I'd like to get right to that info!

As long as it is mentioned somewhere in the review I don't really care, I know our review titles are suppose to show our creativity. Not to mention I am not big on flavored stuff but I would still buy it if I were interested to see if it works with my taste buds.

It doesn't matter to me as long as its specified in the review. Creative titles that aren't too long is tough enough without trying to squeeze in the flavor or size. Besides every's taste buds differ even on the same flavor.

I think it'd be helpful. Though I can see times where it wouldn't really be applicable. Earlier today I wrote a review that included 5 of 6 flavors in a line. It'd be kind of ridiculous to list all of them in a situation like that.

I would absolutely appreciate this. My wife only likes certain flavors/fragrances, so when I'm trying to decide what to buy, I usually know exactly which flavor or scent we might want. It's annoying to have to wade through dozens of reviews, and to have to dig through each one to find which flavor or scent is being reviewed.

It is a huge help to include the scent/flavor in the title. It is also a huge help to describe the scent/flavor and intensity in the review. When the product is "Energizing" or "Midnight Fantasy", you have no idea what that smells/tastes like. It also helps to know how intense the taste/smell is. Does it barely smell or is it so intense that you can smell it across the house?
