EdenReview Suggestion: Comparing vroom's and bee's

Contributor: Woman China Woman China
I just finished reading a review where the reviewer said that the toy was at a five on the vroom scale. And I hate to say this, but looking at the toy and looking at my collection (which once included this toy) made for a very interesting eyebrow raise because I have so many toys that I rate at a four and this toy I'd only rate at maybe a low three. Even before I entered the luxury line of toys.

So; do you think near the bottom of each review there should be an option (similar to the product comparison) where you can say this toy I think is stronger or weaker? This way people who look at the reviews can get a better idea of how that toy is?

What a novel idea! Why didn't I think of that?

Alas, but no. It is an interesting idea, but I don't think it necessary, what we have is enough.

Wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?

Looking back at my first couple vibrator reviews and being new to the whole toy scene, my opinions have greatly changed and I think it is like that probably for a lot of people. When you first start, you have nothing to compare it to and even after getting two or three others things still seem powerful to you until you become a little more familiar. I rated some toys strong like that and now I do not feel that way about them AT ALL.
I wish we could go back and edit old reviews for reasons like this. One I can think of is Siri, I rated it a 5 and it totally isn't now that I've used other things.

Yeah, I think that's a pretty good idea but I agree with Zombirella. I think opinions on vrooms and bees get more accurate with a larger toy collection.

Like Zombirella said, my idea of powerful has changed over time, as I've experienced better, stronger toys.

Plus once you look at the product page once several reviews are up, you can see the overall vrooms that people have rated and get a better idea.

Z'ella, Gold Lion and Peggi... you folks are brilliant!!!

I would love to see a follow up review like a year later or some random amount of time down the road where one could go back to their older reviews and change the star ratings (I mean I'd change some lower and some higher), change the vroom's and the bee's, with a little write up. But... if it were up to me, I'd say no points for that.

Since I still live at home for the time being, my bees are pretty accurate (atleast I think) because I HAVE no other option than to be discreet. But I would like to change the star ratings as well as the vrooms. Two vibes I first reviewed, I didn't wait 2 months to do my follow up because I had them for awhile before I was on EF (plus I didn't really know I was supposed to wait that long) so even those updates don't reflect how I feel about those things today.

I really wish there was an option for two follow up reviews. And the second one couldn't be posted for at least 6 months later. Because I've had toys that I review and write the follow up, even 4 months later, and the day after I can't edit it anymore, something happens. I REALLY want the option for 2 follow ups.

My idea of power has changed over time as well. And my idea of power is usually more harsh because I require power. But everyone's idea of bees and vrooms are different. The sensitive ladies will find that 3 vroom toys are 5 vroom toys. It's very subjective. Some of use might be off on bees too because we all hear differently. Some of us have to worry about silence with toys and others don't so that could play a part in it as well.

Yes this! I usually look at the product page for the vrooms and realize that this is sometimes *untrustworthy* (this is a terrible word to use here but it's the best I can come up with right now) because of only having 1 or 2 reviews.

What do you think about going back and editing your review vroom/bee/stars after it's been published to adjust your opinion as your knowledge and experience grows over time?
