I was wondering how many times or for how long should you use or have before posting a review for that item.
How many times do you use a new toy for before writting the review for it?

I try to use it at least 5 times, but sometimes you have a good feel for it after a few uses. Sometimes you have to use it for months before writing about it.

It really depends on the toy, and the time-frame I've set for the review. I'm working on a review now, and I think I've already used the toy 4-5 times. I'll probably use it at least twice more before writing my review though.
Some times, however, I'll use a toy 10-20 times before writing my review.

Usually 4-5 times. There have been toys that were so good that I'd write one right away - but that doesn't happen often.

I put 4x. I would have checked "other" if it had been an option. There are some toys that only need a couple of "tests" and there are toys that require more. For example, if I have a dildo that I know works well vaginally, I'm not going to write a review until I've tried it anally. Unless the girth is too big or the ridges are too much vaginally, in which I include that it in my review. It all depends on the toy, but I like to get a good feel for the toy before I share my opinion on it.

I try for 3, sometimes it only ends up happening once though. It's good to try it in a variety of ways too, sometimes I can even get my partner to try it out.

Since there is a follow up... I only use my toy a couple times then right the review... So after a while of use.. I know I'll have a follow up just incase my opinion changes.

Three, if I dont like it the first time I try to like it more the second.

It depends on the toy. Some it takes longer to review. If I have really strong feelings (positive or negative) about a toy, I try to give it a few more chances before writing a review.
If it is an assignment then I try to get it done more quickly. Non-assignments, I may have for months before reviewing.

I aim for 5 times, to give the toy a chance if there is a learning curve.

Usually only once or twice. I don't get a lot of opportunities to use my toys (very, very busy) but when I do, I usually have very long sessions with them!

That's actually tough. If they toy doesn't fit, was painful or a bitch to use I may only use it 2 or 3 times but if I enjoyed it I will try it out up to 12 times before writing a review so that I can give that much more detail.
