Ladies have/would you do a review on a male masturbator?

Contributor: Princess-Kayla ♥ Princess-Kayla ♥
I was thinking about purchasing one of the realistic vagina's for my husband, but that would be a lot to spend on a product not to review. If I do, I think I'd definitely try to write a review to it. Maybe it would even help to have a look at it from a female perspective.
So would you write a review over one? Have you? Do you think that only men should do it because they understand what it'll feel like to men?

I don't find anything wrong with it, as long as the review is accurate and highly detailed... ^^

I've reviewed a couple of my guy's things, and am in the process of reviewing another right now. I don't have a problem with the description and toy information, and then I just ask him about his experience with it to get those details.

I just reviewed a masturbation sleeve earlier and the Jenna Jameson boobs last weekish. My husband and I use our toys together and also love soloing for each other with our toys--so yes, I review every toy I buy for him/us. I also include his comments and opinions on the items as well. As someone who plays with and watches him I feel justified in reviewing these items.

I think it's totally ok...if I had a boyfriend and he used a toy I could review I probably would

Yes if I got my man something and he was not signed up to the site. I would definitely review the product on my profile for him. In his words of course for the experience.

I agree with this. I'd review a product with my guy for the site. He'd do the same with female products, too.

If I had a male partner who owned one I would write a review collaboratively with them. No sense in creating a separate account for his review.

I did a review for EF on my blog for a male toy I had to wing it other then what he told me cause I never got the chance to take it out of the box and explore it before he took it on the road for work. I was told my review was pretty good for not personally seeing the toy. I don't have an issue with women reviewing male items especially if they get details from their other half

I have done it and I think it is fine as long as the product was used on a male by a female or by a male alone and the details shared with the female that is writing the review. I wrote one that I used as a couple with my fiance.

My husband isn't interested in masturbation but I don't see anything wrong with it. If he was, I'd either write collaborativly with him or just ask him for all the details and write it myself.

I don't have a problem with other people doing this, but I personally would not. I think I would overlook important aspects of the toy since I wouldn't be able to use it in the way it was designed, and I could never get my guy to sit down and write a review with me.

Maybe if the woman writing the review has a real man using the toy and giving the reviewer detailed input. A toy like this, thought, better a man should probably write it, as women really have no way to use mastubator tubes.

I've written a review on a cock ring, but I was not only able to get my husband's input on how he liked the toy. I was able to also feel the toy myself, used as a bullet and how it felt while my husband was using while we were having sex, and how I felt used on a dildo.

I don't think how much you pay for a toy has any bearing on whether or not you "have to" write a review on it. I don't see the connection. We buy toys for their pleasure, for ourselves or our partners, not what we can get from the toy through a review.

You wrote a review without even seeing a toy?

I am pretty sure that is something Eden would not accept. We are supposed to use the toys ourselves.

I would try it out on my man, or give it to him and relay the feedback.

If a woman has a male partner willing to play guinea pig and provide feedback about sensation, fit or whatever, I think it's fine for her to write a review on a "male" product.

I have reviewed a male masturbator before. It was a manufacturer-sponsored item. The key is to ask your partner how it feels. I don't really think a woman (or anyone without a penis) should review a masturbator without getting some feedback on it because you can only review the technical parts of it. You can't really say how it feels on the genitals.

I have reviewed male sex toys, my husband uses them and then talks to me and I ask all the questions so I can write the review accurately

Yeah, I wouldn't do it unless my husband gave me some input too. Otherwise it wouldn't be very helpful, I imagine.

I think it is perfectly fine. Even if she is using it herself to rub on and use her dildo on it. That is useful to the people who interested. Though, males would find male reviews more useful. As long as you own the toy and use it in some way, I think its okay to review it.

I review male masturbators. I use toys on my hubby and I try to get him to give me input. I write everything, but I ask him questions about the experience. Male toys are more of a couples toy for us personally. So, I do experience what is going on to a degree.

i would review one. Hubby would love to try one out. But I would definatly have him tell me every detail so I can do a through review.

One of my monthly assignments was a male masturbator for my partner. I think as long as you include your partner's experience, it's fine. Now, if I didn't have a partner who could actually use the toy, then that'd be different.

I think it is fine as long as you have a partner to use it on or who can report to you about it.

Very true.
It would be really hard for a woman to write a review on a male toy without being able to describe how it feels on a man.

I would write a review on a man's toy but it would hold the opinions of both myself and a man's.

Nothing wrong with it at all, I have read many reviews like this that I found very useful. As long as the info is there and the experience of the guy is put in I have no problem with it.

One problem we have is the lack of guys to review products, so having the gals write them helps a bunch.

I haven't written one yet but I would if I felt like it would be helpful and I had all the appropriate info to go on.
