What do you use to take pictures?

Contributor: puppylove puppylove
I have noticed that there is a wide variety in picture size and quality on reviews and was wondering what every one was using to take the pictures that they put in their reviews. When I first started doing reviews I used my iPhone, I still use it to do video reviews. Now that I have a computer that can process images from my DSLR that is what I have been using lately for reviews pictures. I have a point and shoot around here somewhere that I am debating starting to use since the large images from the DSLR take so long to load.

What do you use? Cellphone, digital camera, what kind of camera?

i use my droid phone actually! it takes better pics than a lot of the digital cameras out there! i'm shocked sometimes at the poor quality of the pics that get posted... why use blurry pictures where no one can see what your showing?

I use my digital Camera, but for some time I was using a shitty cell phone. My Camera is a Samsung F2.2 Bright Lens. It's not the best. I'm happy with it for now, but it doesn't have a flash. Or I can't seem to find the setting for the flash. It takes decent pictures, but not the best.

I have a Fujifilm FinePix Z90 camera that I use for all my photos. I'd like to upgrade to a professional camera, but those are really expensive and I don't know if it would get enough use to justify the price.

I use one of the Canon Powershot point-and-shoots. It's one of the older editions (Powershot SD1100 IS) but still works. I want to see if there's a way to make the pictures higher quality from the camera. One of my friends has the newer edition and her pictures turn out sooooo nice.

I was using my old Kodak digital, but it died. I ordered a Samsung BL103--brand new, never opened or used. My best friend has one and I absolutely love it!!! Just try to find a brand new older camera that is reasonable priced......

I use my Samsung TL205 digital camera. It is supposed to be a "smart" camera and adjust itself but doesn't always work well and I have to change the scene option myself. I got it because my friends and I take a lot of pictures and it has the screen on the front as well as the back so if I take a picture of me and someone else (or myself) I can make sure we are in the picture.

I'm so glad you posted this! I've often wondered what people use. I use my iPhone. I even own a cannon camera, but was surprised to find that the iPhone pictures come out soooo much better! It's pretty amazing. For videos, I use my mac

I have a DSLR, but it takes such large images that for the most part I prefer my phone.

I use an Olympus Stylus 600 for pictures and my web cam on my laptop for videos. I use Flickr for hosting my pics (most of the time) and it has the option of choosing the size I want to use for reviews.

I use my camera. I would never use my phone for review photos. It does not take good pictures at all. My camera's lighting isn't what I prefer and the lighting in my house just seems horrid, but my photos at least are clear and that's what's really important. If I can see the photo, clear without too much dark or bright light, I'm happy. If a review just has small photos of half of the garment all collaged together, I can't even tell what it is.

I have a big DSLR but do not use it for this purpose. I use my little point and shoot digital. Quick and dirty, but I use natural light when I can, since it just looks so much better than using a flash. Then I adjust it in GIMP. As long as you can see it and it is in focus, I'm good.

But for some reason my photos always look a little fuzzy when I upload them to EF.
