I found myself wondering today how many members of the EF community have ever written a review under the influence?

It may seem irresponsible, but I know it's been done. To be completely honest, I recently had time for some "me time" and used it to relax and have a drink or two, then decided to write a review. I was NOT drunk, and I did not butchered the review by having a drink.

I've written a few reviews drunk, but I didn't publish them until the next day. Surprisingly, I had minimal errors and included almost all pertinent information.

Pretty much the same thing I did. Saved it, then added a few things and went over it the next day to publish it.

I have written them after a couple of beers, but always wait until the next day to publish them. I know me too well!!!! Bizarre sense of humor-not good in a review, usually.

I usually have a glass of wine at night when I am doing any type of writing on the computer... that includes reviews. Never buzzed or drunk, just relaxed.

I've seen a bunch of reviews that looked like the reviewer was drunk when they were written, but I haven't done one myself as of yet.

I've never done it. I don't think I'd be able to do a good review if I was drunk at all.

I don't drink or do recreational drugs at this point in my life. So, no. I haven't done a review under the influence.

I've tried to write during a migraine, with pain meds on board, and quickly exited Word until I felt better.

As long as one has one's faculties about oneself, I don't see a problem. But people might want to put it on Word and look at it the next day with a critical eye.

I've read several reviews that look like someone was three sheets to the wind, though.

Yes, pretty much the same for me. I don't do any of that stuff anymore, so I've never done a review under the influence.

I imagine it would turn the same way for me if I tried to write one on my kidney stone pain meds. Just wouldn't work. lol

I have written several while I was after-glowing though, so I don't know if that counts as "under the influence"?

I don't really think it's "right" to do one intoxicated or high. But hey, it's your review and your rank, also it's linked to your account so do what you want!

Man I wish I could write a review under the influence of something. It would be soooo much fun. But I can't. I've tried. If I'm not sober then the words just don't come out right. Cheers to anyone who is able to.

I don't drink, do drugs, and rarely take over the counter meds so I've never been under the influence of anything when I write.

I have done a few under the influence, I was on a erotic high from just using a toy. lol

If I'd do that, my review would probably look like nothing, with french words sprinkled everywhere and major gramaticcal errors. What is english? How do I express myself? I don't know what I'm doing.

Its complicated enough for me to write one sober, lol. I don't think I could do it stoned or drunk haha! I've had a few pain killers here and there before writing a review, but they don't really affect me "like that".

Having a drink and then writing a review doesn't count for most people I would suspect, but I would never consider writing a review while fuzzy headed. I want to make sure my writing is clear and well-done, and to be honest, being drunk or otherwise out of it is not a help to that at all.

Nope. I'm fact I usually write me in the early morning the day after use so I have had time to think about it and pick our key facts to include.
