#AskEden - My student is saying that they can't request a free assignment until graduated?

It's been so long since I've dealt with this, and this is the first time I've dealt with it as a mentor, but I'm confused.

I've had other students who have requested free assignments, but my current student can't? They are saying that I need to submit them for them, but I've never done that before, so I'm a little confused, and I don't know if the true confusion is on my end or their end... lol.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

I think that before being an advanced reviewer you don't have the option of grabbing and requesting products yourself. So as a mentor you would have to do a push-assignment for him/her.

Mentor program push assignments are assigned by having the mentor email JR with ideally a list of a few possible items. While participating in the mentor program as a student, Advanced Reviewers may either request their own free monthly assignment, or the Mentor program push assignment (limited to $30 regardless of rank) via the mentor, but not both at the same time. Reviewers that are not yet advanced do not have the option to request their own free monthly assignment since that requires Advanced status first and so only have the option of a push assignment.
