This, exactly, is the first thing that came to mind for me. It has just been one person after another, with no real explanation. For those of us who feel a connection with the community [of real people] here at Eden, it has been very hard. It feels like losing relationships with no closure. Some of the former employees have posted vague moving on messages, but I think most of us have felt we were not getting the true story. Happening with such frequency, I certainly felt it was more a company decision than that of the individuals in question. Sorry...it just feels too cold and corporate. Not what we are used to here.

I totally agree.

If it didn't have anything to do with poor performance, and it is just part of new program management, you'd think we could have a little more info.

You feel like you're not getting the true story because YOU'RE NOT GETTING THE TRUE STORY. So many employees being let go and not being able to tell you WHY... the owner pretending this is a kingdom of transparency and then doing everything shady you can imagine. Does not compute, right?

Carrie Ann was being beyond gracious because she doesn't want backlash from telling the truth. She's not able to tell you why they were all let go with no notice, after faithful service for nearly half a decade. Not allowed to say goodbye or finish their work and projects. Oh, there is so much more to the story, friends. So very much.

Be wary of the lip service you get here. And don't be surprised when this comment (or this entire thread) is suddenly deleted. EdenFallacys, indeed.

This is the end of the road, I think. Some people are running damage control, but it's already past the point of no return. We've gotten nothing but vagueness and lies. Everything about this stinks...

Guys, I think this is a bit of an over-reaction isn't it?? I mean, if they wanted to delete this thread they would have HOURS ago. With all the freakouts and drama that it has caused, they would have! But they haven't.

Why don't we appreciate all the nice things EF has done for us for awhile and wait and see what happens. They deserve that much!

I have all good things to say about EF. Everything going on here is speculation and exaggeration. Let's just stay calm until we have some answers. Let's not be negative. I don't think that helps...

It's 10pm in Atlanta and there's no one but Stormy left to police the forums. Optimism is fine when there isn't strong track record of terrible treatment. You must be kinda new, huh?

I feel sad about this. I was concerned when I hadn't heard back from Carrie Ann after 3 days, when she normally gets back to me in less than 24 hours. As soon as I was about to send a follow-up email, I saw this thread.

It seems formidable, but I am grateful for all the neat things I've been able to do because of Eden. I get the best products and I've rediscovered something I used to love to do, which is to write. I can express myself through fun reviews and get products that I would have never gotten otherwise. In the minimal time I've been here, I was given permission to do video reviews, which I never even thought of doing before. I've been asked for years to do Skype workshops for one of my jobs and I always refused because I was afraid/embarrassed to be on camera. Because of Eden, that fear has been removed. The awesome products I receive, which I pay next to nothing for have improved my relationships. The community here is really swell and I've made a few really nice friendships.

So because of these things, I'm going to continue to write my reviews and hopefully continue to make my videos and whatever else I do on here because I enjoy doing it. I'll miss the admin that I communicated with, for sure, but let's keep on truckin' along.

I'm just in shock right now.

Gary, Carrie Ann, et al. - It is been fantastic getting to know you all and be a part of this great community with you. I am so sorry this happened to all of you, and am very sad to see you go. I'm hoping to still see some of you around on the forums from time to time. I enjoy reading your comments and seeing what you have to say about everything that's been going on.

Like everyone else, I'm not sure what this bodes for the future here. I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic, and plan to continue doing what I do here. If things work out for the best, great! If not, well, it was nice while it lasted...

Thank you, Carrie Ann. I know getting answers form those of you who were 'phased out' mean more to us than placating answers and speculation. It has to be very hard on you to post and be part of this discussion after your sudden horrible news. Just letting you know we appreciate your integrity and honesty!!! You are greatly missed and there are many of us who are worried about you and are praying for you!!!

I agree. It sucks when you don't have all the answers immediately, but that is life sometimes. Let's see what happens and freak out later if necessary.

What's going on here is 100% damage control and y'all would be wise to be skeptical. The behavior of Eden over the last two years has been the behavior of a company circling the drain, not a company ready to reinvent itself.

All the people you trusted here, all the people you're praising for those "nice things"..THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE GONE. That's the whole point. When these same (former) employees are telling you what is going on, that's NOT speculation or exaggeration. It's fact. Gary gave his email address in the post that started his thread. Why don't you just ask?

Okay, let's look at this from a few different angles.

Situation A: EdenFantasys has been withholding the truth and is doing some seriously shady stuff, keeping the facts away from its users and loyal customers. They have (verifiably) created a "VIP" list of users they funnel more information to than others. They fire hard-working employees suddenly and without cause. They create changes, and when they backfire, just leave the horrible mess as-is. Why the hell would you want to be a part of this company? They abandoned us; why not abandon them?

Situation B: EF truly thinks it is helping by cutting costs, and will rise to new heights after these changes. The internal administration is a disaster and the backlash is too massive from both the regular community and its employees (most of which have been removed from their positions with no explanation). Even if EF does pull through this, do you HONESTLY want to be affiliated with a company who treats their employees and much-loved community members like such garbage? The company clearly has no respect for transparency, and has brought economic unsureness to a large number of hard-working administrators here.

Situation C: This is all a big misunderstanding. Actually, the admins weren't removed for any economic reason; they quit, or were fired en masse after internal protesting. Wait... why? See A and B.

I have read through all of these posts, and I feel just as confused as I did before.

I am deeply saddened to see that some of the beloved staff members will no longer be with us. You all are amazing, and you will be dearly missed.

I will be sticking around EF to see what comes next.

Um, maybe because for most people "community" means things like loyalty and actually caring about individuals they have built relationships with over the course of years, rather than just what is new and exciting at this very moment?

Gary has been, by far, my favorite staff member here on EF. I mean this with respect to everyone else, but you've been hilarious as a reviewer, helpful as a staff member and a respectable human being. There are few people who I've respect so much while on this site.

With that said, I am as confused as everyone else. While I'm curious what changes are in store and hope they will be awesome, the way things are being done isn't happening in a way that makes sense to anyone who isn't completely in the know -- and it seems like every staff members aren't.
