The new Eden Points changes are LIVE!!!

You are all 'Regular' users. That means that none of you need to go through the trail period. You can all see the new changes on your Eden Points page in your dashboards.

Since this is all new, please, if you see or experience any issues, please message or email me immediately with the details: gary@edenfantasys.com

...and for those of you saving your reviews, the points for reviews are adjusted, so please begin submitting them asap!!!

A thousand points per review now?
It seems so high to me...but I guess given the amount of time and effort that gets put into a good (good being the key phrase here, obviously. ^_^ ) review, it makes sense.

I think I'm going to miss the seeing the "Normal" status in the dashboard though, being "regular" just isn't as amusing for me given my theory on the meaning of the word normal. xD

Fantastic changes, Gary! I'm especially impressed with both the increase in point value for our reviews (this really makes me feel like not only is my opinion valued, but that you went above and beyond in listening to all of our recommendations) as well as the decrease in number of reviews that we can submit each day. I know that for me personally, submitting two in a day is roughly equivalent to working a full time job, (and my reviews aren't even the most detailed on the site!) so I think that for most people, it's probably more than enough. I also really like the Trial vs. Regular user levels, and even though I knew that they'd be coming, it's great to see them in action. I might be rushing things a bit, but is there somewhere that we can view the requirements for moving from trial to regular member? I checked the How it Works page, but I'm not sure if it just hasn't been updated yet or if the information is somewhere else that I'm not seeing. I'm a little bit nosy and would just like to know for curiosity's sake, it's true, but I also like to recommend EF to my friends, and it would be great to have that information to give them.

Wow! Very exciting stuff! Thanks for letting us know.

I have 1 question out of pure curiosity (not complaining at ALL) - will we still have different point levels? Like silver, etc. for being extra helpful?

I noticed some things changed with the points program a bit earlier today but didn't notice the "trial" versus "regular" changes at all lol.

Great changes, I like them already!

I'm so happy with the changes! Thank you! I take a lot of time to write a review and this makes it well worth it. Also I love the fact that we can only submit two reviews a day. I know it sounds dumb, but when it was higher it made me feel like I wasn't doing enough, or that I should be quicker. This makes me feel like I'm working at a decent pace. Thanks again for rewarding the reviews with such a high number!

I do like how a lot of the points are, but the only thing I see is why is the review and article the same amount I think the article should go back up, Just my opinion though.

I was scared for a second when I got on today. I did something and it said 10 points I had to double take and look I am like I did not see anything for double points, what is going on? I headed right to the points page and saw all the changes. Thank you and darn I did a review yesterday if I would have just waited a day LOL. That is awesome I don't do reviews much but when I do it is good to know it is worth a little more now.

Thanks Gary for listening to everyone and taking into account what we have said to you guy's.

I like it. It seems streamlined and more focused. Glad to see more points given for reviews, 1k seems a bit high, but I'll take it!

Did the points for an order go up from 5% to 7%? Might want to make that into a nice banner and get people ordering!

Thank you for the update, and for all of the changes! I love that you guys took our thoughts into consideration when designing this upgrade -- especially considering that it was generous for you guys to offer ANY points at all in the first place.

Just a thought, though -- editors, please be EXTRA diligent about checking for fake/plagiarized reviews now. With the point increase for reviews being so high, I worry that we'll start seeing a lot of those.

for some reason mine said 1000 then I rechecked it then went back up to 1500 it may just been a glitch or something
