This morning our rank was 5.3, but now it's back down to a 5.2 Has this ever happened to you?

Your rank is based on your activity over the past year relative to all other contributors. If your rank is right at the edge, you can see it fluctuate back and forth for several days.

Yep, exactly what Kindred said. When you're right on the edge of moving up in ranking you can bounce back and forth quite a bit. Eventually, as long as you stay active and keep doing what you're doing, it will make it up to the next level and stay there. Also the higher you get in rank, it starts to take longer & longer to reach the next level. Totally normal!

Yeah, I've noticed that it does seem to take longer for our rank to go up now. We got to 5.0 super quick, but now we're stuck We are pretty darn new though, so I'm sure it'll go up with time!

This just happened to me. I was 5.6 (which took forever to get to from 5.5) and I dropped back, despite being active every day and publishing reviews. Really makes no sense.
