Dumb question: How do I become a contributor?

Contributor: chibi1091 chibi1091
I JUST discovered the awesome aspects to edenfanstasys.com, and I just registered today. I'm just trying to figure things out now. I was wondering if someone could define a contributor to me and tell me how I could be on my way to proofreading some day.

Thanks

A contributor is anyone who contributes to the site. Writes on forum, reviews a product, rates products, rates reviews, etc. An advanced reviewer is one who has either graduated from the mentor program or has written a few reviews on previously owned items from or same as the ones on Edens, you can submit them for an upgrade vote. I personally recommend the mentor program, it helped me immensely when I started on this site. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions about site navigation, terms, etc. I am always happy to help new contributors like yourself!!

Welcome to Edens!! Hope you have a blast and enjoy participating in one of the greatest and most generous sites!!

First, read some reviews of products you own, or are interested in to get the style. After you're familiar with the reviews, write some of your own on products you have already used. After you've written a few reviews, you can apply to be an advanced contributor. As an advanced contributor, you gone free assignment per month on products that have less than three free reviews and 30% off of products for a "buyout review." A buyout review is done on any product, where you're given a 30% discount in exchange for a review of the product. When your rank reaches 6.0 you can apply to be a mentor. As for proofreading, the new rotation starts soon, but you may be ready for the next rotation in about four months.

Welcome to Eden!

There are no dumb questions. It's so fun to have new people join who are enthusiastic and ready to participate. Being new, I would definitely suggest you get into Eden's wonderful Mentor Program. By signing up to have a mentor, you'll get hooked up with a more experienced member here. They'll be able to help you figure out what activities are the perfect fit for you, they'll be able to help you with writing reviews, and just generally navigating the site.
