Do you always get your free assignment as soon as your eligible?

I've never gotten a free assignment.

I'm relatively new so I can't speak from too much experience yet, but I plan to wait to get items I'm excited about or that I think I can contribute to with a new or unique viewpoint. My goal is to give other customers more information to choose their items, and I want to approach my assignments with the same questions I would have had if I was actually buying the item. So I'm comparison shopping and looking for good values I would spend my money on, looking to flesh-out an under-reviewed item that maybe I have a special interest in or an item where I have question that I think I can help resolve for others and that isn't currently answered with the information on the site.

I usually wait until there's something I like and I know that I'll have time to write the review on it.

I wait to see something I hope to like.

I try to as soon as possible, but sometimes it takes a while to find an available item.

I usually end up waiting a couple more weeks and grab something I really want.

I know there's some months that I just can't find anything I want to review. I stay busy with description reviews and the video review program anyhow, so I'm usually in no rush.

Sorta.

Basically, I have enough toys that I don't NEED new ones. I love reviewing when I have the time and I do have purchased toys that I review. I don't only review the free ones. Since it's something I enjoy, but I don't always have time to do, I tend to request products less. I also feel there are a LOT of reviewers on this site and I feel it's only fair to allow some others to get some of the goodies as well.

I DO get frustrated when I want to review something and all I can seem to find are batteries... I'm sure I am not the only one that has noticed this. Now, of course there is nothing wrong with waiting. That said, since I DO see that the items can be scarce, I do sometimes try to let others have a chance. It's not due to disinterest that I don't always grab one, I just feel it's only fair to let others who have the time to dedicate have a shot.

How long do you guys wait? lol. It seems like it'd be almost impossible to get an item with all the people trying to be the first to review.
