Trying to get out of Trial period - e-mailing articles problems?

Contributor: bobbinsnz bobbinsnz
I'm trying to tick off all the things I need to do to get my account out of the trial period. I've done everything except for e-mailing an article - when I click the e-mail button nothing happens. No pop-up, nothing

I've tried this on three different computers now, has anyone else had problems with this?

Also - I've liked EF on Facebook and briefly associated it with my account via the Social Networks feature and didn't get a confirmation that I've completed that task (I've since de-associated it because frankly having my Facebook that easily linked to lots and lots of private information about my sex life makes me skittish). Does anyone have any idea about how to go about showing that I've 'liked' EF on Facebook? The name on there is the same one used in my orders, so it's possible for an employee of EF to confirm it is me...

Those all sound like browser problems to me! What are you using?

My first suggestion would be closing and restarting everything and clearing your cookies. Eden recently lost most of its staff, so before you try them (they're also pretty backed up!) I'd make sure it's not a problem on your end.

You aren't the only one having this problem.

I started a convo link because I was having the same problem, and I am not a trial member.

The thread's been pulled but it's happening to a lot of us. I can't get it to work in FF, IE or Chrome.

The thread was just accidentally linked incorrectly: here's the proper link. Stormy commented and said that it's a known issue that's being fixed. =)

As an added bonus, you no longer have to send an article or do anything with your Facebook account to make it out of the trial period: there's a list of the updated mandatory actions here.

Just thought I'd post and let anyone who stumbles across this thread know that it's been fixed. =)
