Welcome to the Weekly Review Roundup #21!
Three new things this week: The Expectations of Conduct has been posted, you can now ‘Flag’ comments in the forum to report abuse, AND last but not least… one of our most active contributors is now going to be a forum mediator… a round of applause for Sammi!
Beyond that, as most of you will recall there was a new all time record number of reviews submitted last week, 189 to be exact. Well this week you all have not only broken this record (again) but you really smashed it… 205 reviews came in this week! That number again, 205! Last week I was wondered if someday we would ever break 200… that certainly didn’t take very long to find out!
Right now, our review community is making me think of Evil Knievel (both are seriously bad ass!). He had to keep outdoing himself, and keep jumping over more buses each time he made a jump. Then eventually he raised the bar so high that he had to begin jumping canyons in a rocket. For us, breaking 200 reviews in one week is like jumping a canyon in rocket. Congratulations everyone!
When I was putting together this week’s roundup, I had originally decided to only pick reviews from reviewers that had not been in a Roundup before (at least, the last 20). But as I was going through the mountain of reviews that came in this week, I noticed a lot of new faces, and a few older faces that had not been around in a while. So I decided to have this week’s roundup all be reviews from new, or returning contributors.

I decided to check this one out just because I am a Michael Manning fan, and have a few of his other books (but not this one). So then when I was deciding to include this review in the roundup, it fit the theme perfectly! Twist Shimmy had not submitted a review since February (around the time I started working with the Review Program), and now she is back… with 2 reviews this week no less! So, welcome back Twist Shimmy! Her impression of this book is similar to mine of the other books; the artwork is amazing, the adult aspect is very intense, and the storyline is crazy but confusing! Last week I gave you a homework assignment, and this week we have a lot of new faces, and a record number of reviews. There are so many new ideas in-between the planning and brainstorming realms at this very moment for our community. I really can’t wait until they begin to take form so that I can share them with you all. But, since you did such a good job last week…
