The Sasha Grey signature swell wand is pretty awesome vaginally, but others have told me it feels awesome anally as well, I would be careful with it anally as it doesn't have a clearly defined base.

Something relatively small diameter say 1.5" or less but long to get a longer ride in and out.
I wish Eden Fantasys offered the 1.5" x 10" Vamp Silicone valentino dildo.

careful with thrusting actions with glass or solid type of dildo's.

Sasha Grey

Cat E.
Blush looks cool.

For anal I'd strongly recommend silicone, glass or metal.
The downside with the Sasha Grey has been noted (no base)
The downside of the Eaze is that it's narrow (not much wider than a finger, and fingers are free) and has a lot of texture, which can be problematic when thrusting if you aren't used to it. I'd look for something a little bigger and smooth.

i'm a glass freak, so sasha is just peachy.

The Ease is 5 1/4" insertable and 1' in diameter which a begineer can probably handle.
11/26/2012
The groove looks decent Nice base, and the size and shape looks pretty good.
11/26/2012
the eaze I guess
11/26/2012
Something silicone with a base. I personally wouldn't be doing any thrusting back there with something hard with no give to it. I have some large plugs that are glass but I wouldn't dare thrust with them. For that I use a silicone dildo with a nice base on it.
11/26/2012
I like the look of the Eaze. I have the Groove but it's not really a thrusting toy, more a slow motion in and out toy.
11/26/2012
The Sasha Grey is hot
11/26/2012
I am a fan of the groove but not for thrusting... for that I would go with the Sasha
11/26/2012
The silicone Eaze with a wide base.

Eaze (Cocoa)

sasha grey!

Cat E.
I'd go with Ease.

Eaze, for the reasons mentioned above: superior material that is soft, beginner-friendly size and shape, and a flared base.
Like ScottA said, however, it's quite small and the texture might be too much (though your mileage may vary). If you're looking for an equally high-quality, anal-safe silicone toy of a comparable price, try one of the Tantus Silk line, or perhaps the Tantus Acute. They've all got smooth texture and offer more length and width without being too much to handle.

Eaze

Eaze is probably best. It looks safe and not too textured for thrusting.

The Swell Wand Looks Nice

I would love to try the groove but maybe depends on your personal preferences.
12/20/2012
I'm looking forward to trying glass out. I love the idea of being able to use it vaginally and anally.
02/24/2013
Eaze baby!
02/24/2013
I like the look of the Sasha Grey toy. The blue beads are probably safer for beginner play, and also a good choice.

Only thing about the Sasha is the lack of base.

If I was going to use a toy for thrusting, I'd pick something smooth, slender, slightly curved and equipped with a handle. And made of silicone or steel.
