That Eaze is a lovely tease

While I will freely admit that it's a bit creepy looking, the Eaze has completely won me over. There are some small-sized anal toys that make me pleased as a pie when playing with them, but the Eaze does that and more: it makes me want more. This is by no means a con -– the Eaze is just the best warm-up probe I've ever used. It makes my butt so happy that it thinks it's ready to take on the world!

Use

The Tantus Eaze is a thin, semi-realistic anal probe that works best as just that: being a little dildo. Being so thin, the difference in circumference between the shaft of the toy and the thinner stem is not quite adequate to keep the toy from slipping out if one is attempting to use this as a plug, particularly if the user is really warmed up and lubricated. It's not impossible to use in such a way, though, especially if you use a bit less lubrication to begin with. As a warm-up probe, however, I give this little guy five stars. It really does an excellent job of easing one into play, as its name would suggest. While the tip of the toy isn't so thin that it slides in all by itself, as the Tantus Ripple does, it's still very non-threatening and can be inserted with minimum coaxing. The flared base on this toy makes it totally anal play safe, as one would hope for a toy characterized as an anal probe.

The Eaze can also be used vaginally (be sure to sterilize it or wrap it up before switching orifices, of course). While quite thin, it's still enjoyable in a more subtle way –- sort of reminiscent of being fingered. This won't be everyone's favourite thing, of course, but the feeling of having all those nerve endings stimulated without any fullness or stretching at all is a nice change every now and then.

While this toy is harness compatible, the base is quite thin and flimsy. I don't have a harness myself to try it out in that capacity, but I foresee that there could be issues there. A smaller O-ring would also be required to use the Eaze in a harness.

Material / Texture

Tantus' 100% premium silicone is a major plus for anal toys because of its non-porous and sterilizable ways. There's no scent or taste to be found with this lovely stuff. The Eaze has a little bit more squish to it than some of Tantus' other products. I'm not too sure whether this is because they use a softer silicone to make the Eaze or because of the lack of bulk the toy has, but either way, it's quite nice. It's very flexible: it can be bent completely in half so that the head touches the base.

It's shiny and has quite a bit of drag to it before being lubed up, so despite its petite size, I'd still recommend using lube with the Eaze. Relatedly, the drag of this toy means that it's great at collecting lots of dust and lint. Don't drop it on the floor, especially if you have a pet and haven't vacuumed recently. The sight of this skinny little guy all covered in hairs might be enough to turn you off your play session altogether.

Design / Shape / Size

The Eaze is semi-realistic: it's clearly a penis, but it doesn't have all that much detail, and no one would mistake it for the real thing. It does have quite a number of veins and a little meatus slit on the head, which is just enough detail for me. The Eaze I got is the cocoa colour, which is slightly lighter than it appears in the product pictures. The other colour offered is beige, which is extremely pale and a bit sickly-looking, and it honestly doesn't do much to help the aesthetic case of this toy.

The veins on the shaft are noticeable in use and make for a bit more sensation than one gets from something like the comparably-sized Sedux Please, which is a very smooth ride. It's a really nice feature for a beginner toy: while it's small enough to insert without issue, the texture keeps it from getting boring once you're well used to the size.

At 3.25” in circumference, it's quite thin, as I've mentioned ad nauseum. The Eaze does have a decent length (5.25” insertable), which helps its case as a vaginal dildo. It's pretty uniform in girth, though the head is sliiiightly bigger than the shaft. There aren't any seams on it though, as far as I can see.

Performance

The base of the Eaze is quite thin and flimsy: you can fold it into a half-circle without any trouble. I mentioned above that the flimsy base makes this potentially problematic for use with a harness, but the said base is actually really awesome for solo use. It's way easier to hold and manipulate solo than toys that have big, thick bases (like the O2 Mark, for example). The flexibility of the base is also more comfortable against the butt cheeks if one is wearing this as a plug. It isn't ideal for any kind of long-term wear, though, since the base is fully circular rather than a wedge that can fit between the cheeks. Using it as a plug also works best while lying down or at least while not walking around a whole lot.

The shape of the Eaze makes it great for thrusting. The difference in size between the main shaft of the toy and the thinner stem before the base is very slight and makes it so you can thrust the entire length of the toy down to the base without worry of being stuck on that dip. The extra thinness of that bit does make the rest of the shaft feel slightly thicker by comparison, which is nice as well.

When used vaginally, I've found that bending/twisting the base of the toy will make the whole thing wiggle because it's so flexible, so there's extra stimulation to be had that way. It's a bit like being fingered and having your partner wiggle their fingers inside of you -- pretty neat.

Attempting to add vibration to the toy produced only mediocre results. A bullet placed against the shaft had some success in transferring vibrations, but a bullet against the base of the toy had less.

Care and Maintenance

Soap and warm water or toy cleaner will clean this up nicely, though if you want a deeper clean, this lovely silicone can be sterilized using the usual drill: boil for three minutes or use a 10% bleach solution. The Eaze does retain some smell after anal play. Sterilizing might take care of some of the problem. Another option would be to use a scented toy cleaner to mask it a bit. And, of course, stay away from silicone-based lubes when using a silicone toy.

Storing this can be as easy as keeping it in a toy pouch or plastic bag (I prefer plastic myself, as it more effectively protects against lint collecting). The size of the Eaze makes it a toy that would do well traveling and won't take up much space in your toy box.

Personal comments

My coworker at the sex shop used to ridicule this toy for its thin, veiny ways, but after using the Eaze, I think I'm going to have to come to its defense. This is the most comfortable anal toy I've ever used –- I almost fell asleep with it in after the first time using it. It's so flexible that it wouldn't have given me any problems had I actually slept with it in. I doubt I would have felt it even with all the rolling around I do in my sleep.

Most importantly, this is really the best warm-up toy I've ever used for anal. The Eaze riled me up so much that I went and took on the O2 Mark, which is twice as big as anything I've ever tried anally before (with the exception of my boyfriend, but that's a little different). Results may vary, of course, but that was something I'd never expected to be able to jump into, and I credit the Eaze for working me up in just the right way. I'm a huge fan of a teasing buildup, and the combination of the slimness, length, and texture that the Eaze has makes for a deliciously effective warm up that leaves me oh, so ready for more. Awesome.

It's also fun for size play –- I tend to like the degradation of being made to take both really big and really small things, so this is naughty in that context, for me particularly. I had plenty of overly large toys, but this is my first petite semi-realistic. I'm glad to have added it to the collection.
Follow-up commentary
This remains my go-to warm-up probe. It's still hella comfortable, easy to insert, and great for thrusting. The other night, I did actually fall asleep with it in after a lovely masturbation session, and there were no ill effects to report. It took me a second to even remember it was there once I woke up. It's just that comfortable. It's a 5-star toy, Eazily.

This thing looks... creepy. The flimsy base is both a pro and a con?

Excellent review. Looks like this makes an almost perfect beginner's anal toy. Silicone is a big plus.

What's degrading about taking small toys?
  • Contributor: toxie m
@ potstickers - I think so. Pro because it's way easier to manipulate with your hand solo, con because it isn't as good for use in a harness. All in all, it was more pro for me since I don't have a harness

@ dv8 - Well, yeah. I'm finding this hard to explain without resorting to transcribing the dirty talk in my head, haha. It has to do with not being worthy of bigger dicks. The semi-realistic aspect is important because in my fantasy it's not a toy but actually just the smallest penis ever and I'm not allowed to be satisfied by something more.

Great review. It's isn't the best looking toy out there but it looks like it would be comfortable.

Excellent review. It looks like a totem pole!

I've always overlooked this one---the combination of realistic coloring but an unrealistic shape sort of squicked me out. But you do a really good job of explaining why the shape works the way it is, and now I think I'll respect the Eaze a bit more. I still don't think it'll jump onto my wish list, but at least I understand it better. Thanks!
