Exploring the Unknown with Eaze

The Eaze anal probe by Tantus may not be the biggest contender, but its small size and comfort does makes it an "easy" and safe choice for those just beginning to explore the realm of anal stimulation. My only wish would have been for it to be available in a 1/4"-3/4" of an inch larger diameter, which in turn may have helped stability issues upon insertion.

Use

My purchase of the the Eaze Probe by Tantus was influenced by the simple fact that I needed a new, realistic, and safe anal toy. This was my first silicone butt plug purchase and I admit that, although it met all my aforementioned requirements, it was considerably lacking in girth and firmness. For a beginning user, this may be an ideal introduction to anal play, as it is not very intimidating; however, being that it is so small, an advanced user may hardly notice its very presence!

Material / Texture

What I like the most about silicone is that it is virtually odorless and tasteless out of the box, which is a plus for those more sensitive to the offensive odors that some less expensive toys come with. That was the only time I tasted the toy.

Now appearance-wise, the Eaze is meant to resemble a realistic cock, but truth be told, it doesn't feel exactly like the real thing. The silicone is shiny and smooth, whereas a real cock provides for a bit of "grab". Had it been made any thinner, though, it would have compromised the functionality of this toy because in my opinion, flexibility-wise, it's already a bit on the flimsy/floppy side.

Design / Shape / Size

Eaze is available in two colors: "cocoa" or "beige". The latter looked sickly pale to me, perhaps more albino-like. I ordered the "cocoa", which falls more appropriately in to the "mulatto" color category. When I think "cocoa", I think dark brown, but this shade appears to be a more natural tan color than the ghostly, flesh-tone probe.

It's soft, which is good, since the bulging veins of this toy will compress some and not scratch any delicate body tissues. Honestly, I was hoping for something a bit meatier in girth and instead I received something "pencil" thin. Ok, perhaps not quite as thin as a pencil, but if it were a real cock, I'd certainly place it in that category! The Eaze is thinner than my index finger and middle fingers side-by-side, and I don't have big hands. Standing tall at 5 3/4", with 5 1/4" insertable, it's adequate length is appropriate for any user.

Performance

I wasn't looking for anything too intrusive when I selected this toy, but now I feel as if I undershot it by a mile. It took me a few tries to get it in my anus, not because of inexperience, but due to the not-so-stiff base I described above, which made it a bit difficult to insert, as it would bend if only held by the flared portion. Insertion is best accomplished by grasping the probe a bit higher up on the lower part of the textured shaft. For someone with anal experience as myself, I could certainly handle more, but the Eaze provides a nice break from larger toys. It's O-ring compatibility makes it a versatile toy for harness use if you have the appropriately-sized ring; however because it's so thin, it doesn't sit securely in the one I currently use, which has a fixed O-ring to accommodate thicker dildos.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is easy to care for, but I wouldn't want to waste a whole dishwasher's worth of hot water on one toy. The boiling water method is more eco-conscious and allows the user to swap out the toy much faster, especially if the toy is being shared. It could be stored in the plastic packaging it came in, but it's not a hard plastic case, so some good alternatives would be: a plastic bag, a silky scarf, or perhaps a washcloth. Never use anything but a water-based lube with silicone toys, as the silicone lubes can react negatively with a toy of the same material.

Experience

I've used this toy for roleplay situations, mainly for small cock humiliation. I can't tell you what a turn-on it is for a male who is stimulated by hearing how minuscule his member is. Tying a submissive up in a chair and making him perform oral on the Eaze before inserting it in his virgin ass was such a thrill for me. Even my chuckling had him raging hard!

Follow-up commentary
My Eaze has been holding up beautifully to semi-regular ass play and harness use. I've noticed it could be a bit firmer, since it does tend to flop a little/ bend when I try to insert it, but once it's in good, its there to stay. The flared base is a little to thin for my tastes, but I suppose that is so it can be manipulated to fit in to an O-ring.

Even when I read the size description, it's hard to really understand how large or small something is until you say "it's smaller than my middle and index fingers." That really is small! Thanks for the review.
