Easy....anal?

This is a great warm up dildo, or a beginner dildo for the first time peggers. It is not too large and not too overly textured. This would make a great first time toy. Just not a good anal plug.

Use

Although this is listed as a butt plug, it can be used for more. It does make a excellent anal toy. Not so much for a butt plug. It can also be used in the vagina. It is on the small side, but it is nicely textured and shaped. This is water proof and can be used just about anywhere. It is very travel friendly, as it is not breakable. The base is flared to make it safe for anal play, and it works great in a harness.

Just done use this with silicone lube, as the lube will destroy the surface of the toy.

Material / Texture

This is made from 100% silicone. It is soft and flexible. The silicone is nonporous. Silicone does not have any odors or flavors. It will never pick up any either with proper care. This is firm enough to stand straight out when held sideways. But soft enough to bend completely in half. It is firm, it takes a bit of pressure to squeeze this in between two fingers.

The surface is textured. More so then a real penis. They added what looks to be blood veins all over the shaft. And they stand out quit a bit. The head is also very pronounced and stands out from the shaft. The texture feels nice. It is not overly done. Just enough to feel during use.

The base is flared for anal and harness use.

Design / Shape / Size

This is a cross between a dildo and a butt plug in design. It is all dildo until you get down close to the base, and then it becomes a butt plug. The neck is tapered down in size like a typical butt plug. It is also listed on this site as a butt plug.

The overall length of this is just about 6 inches long. The insertable length is just over 5 inches long. This has a diameter of just over 1 inch at its thickest. The neck has a diameter of 3/4 of a inch. You can see that there is no real size difference between the shaft and the neck. This is a problem when it comes to butt plug use. As the neck will not allow this to act like a plug.

This has a realistic look to it. Not a good realistic look. If you want something that looks just like the real thing, get a Vixskin. But this is designed to look like a semi real penis. The veins are not normal looking, at least not for me. I cant recall any male porn stars that had veins like this on their penis, but then I was not studying their penis either.

Size wise, this is a perfect dildo for a anal beginner. It is not too large and will not scare them away.

Performance

This worked out very well. We used it in my wife's harness. It fit in the harness without any problems. The harness held it up, again with no problems. My wife lubed it up and we had some anal fun. It went in super easy. It did not hurt at all from the texture. It worked great as a dildo. As a butt plug not so much. The neck size difference from the shaft is not great enough to keep this in. It slides out with any slight movement. And I mean any movement. It was very annoying to have to hold onto it when you moved around.

So I recommend this as a pegging toy, and not as a butt plug.

Care and Maintenance

This is super easy to care for. It is made from silicone after all. We wash it with soap and water. Dry it with a towel and put it away. But you can also use the top shelf of your dishwasher. You can boil it in water for a few minutes. You can clean it with a bleach solution. You can use a toy cleaner or wipe as well. Which ever way works best for your situation. Just make sure to clean it after each use.

As far as storage goes, silicone is also easy to store. We just toss this in the drawer with the rest of the sex toys. Or if it is not going to get used for a while, in the closet. In either case, we have had no problems with any of our silicone toys.

Once again, this is made from silicone so you can not use silicone lube with it. If you are still going to try to use silicone lube, at least use a condom over this so you do not ruin the surface.

Packaging

This shows up in the typical Tantus dildo package. It is a clear plastic box, showcasing the dildo inside. It is not discreet at all. So don't open your postage box around people whom you do not want seeing the dildo when you pull out the packaging. The packaging is also not very good for storage of your toy. It is a pain in the butt to open the plastic box. Plus, it is on the large size; specially if you are short on storage space like we are. I have to not waste any space to overly large packaging. Or we have toys falling out of the closet door when its opened.

The packaging is not that informative. It has some info about Tantus and the silicone they use. It also has the Tantus web site address. But that's about it. So its not bad. But I would have liked to see some information about how to care for your toy. After all, it is a pretty big investment you have just made in purchasing this. I would think that Tantus would want you to keep it looking and feeling brand new for as long as possible. That way you come back looking for other Tantus toys to add to your collection.

Hmmm, it's listed as a probe on EF's product page, not a plug. Thank you for the great review.
