I just bought my first plug (yay!) and I haven't tried it yet, and I've been looking at anal dildos. I haven't tried glass toys, and I was wondering what everyone would recommend as a first time glass dildo. I like that they both have texture, but I don't know what would feel the best. I have the Emerald Explorer and I use it mostly for anal play. Even though it has the graduated bulbs, I find that it is still smooth enough to be very comfortable for anal use. Keep in mind that this was not my first anal toy. I think the nubs on the Sasha Grey wand would be more uncomfortable.

Definitely the Emerald explorer. I haven't tried these, only similar, and the big bulbs are winning.

Of the two choices I would go with the Emerald Explorer. The nubs on the other look a little to much to me.
If you like texture (or think you will) you might look at the Gold Laced G. The size is good and the texture is mild. Plus the curve will allow for some G-spot stimulation as well.

I haven't had anything textured anally yet, but I definitely think I would like it, and I like the curve. Will probably add this to my wishlist now, thank you

I like the Lucid Heart link and Silenzio link. The smooth Lucid Heart is good to start out because it has the nice handle. The Silenzio is a nice step up because the wave shape is gradual. The two that you show will no doubt work - but those quick size changes will take some getting use to.
