I've been using the libety plug, it's glass, and I've noticed that lube comes right off of it. Because the toy is so smooth I haven't noticed this being a problem but has anyone else noticed this with glass toys? Namely that most of the lube you apply comes right off. Maybe I'm just used to having to use more lube for a toy..

Yes I have noticed - but it's typical of the 'wiping' effect of the inner and outer anal sphincters. This is actually one reason I like glass - it's so smooth that I don't need a lot of lube - and enough stays in place to be comfortable. For other toys, reapplication of lubrication is vital.
During anal - you should expect to have to reapply somewhat frequently.
