I've been a proud owner of the Large for about two months and an owner of the 2.0 for about five weeks. During this period of ownership, I've discovered that they're great anal plugs when compared to some of my non-metal plugs. In other words, stainless steel doesn't retain odours like silicone does and the large bulb plus the thin taper ensures that the plug isn't going anywhere unless you decide it's coming out.

However, I have noticed two quirks; first being the fact that I have to wear the plugs with the bulb pointing inwards (i.e. not pointing towards my stomach). If I do decide to try it outwards, I'm always forced to change the plug's direction because of an uncomfortable poking feeling. This happens with both sizes.

My second issue is with the 2.0's handle. After a moderate period of wear, I'm forced to take the plug out because of the handle's uncomfortable rubbing against my cheeks. Does anyone have any solutions for this? FYI, I always use condoms with my toys -- could the feeling be from the rubbing of latex against skin?

Anyways, I'd like to hear if anyone else has noticed these two things and if they can be solved somehow (particularly the second issue). FYI, if anatomy matters, I'm male.

As well, your general impressions of/experiences with Pure Plugs would be nice as well

Stiff toys just tend to have more quirks when it comes to positions for comfortable use. I don't think there's anything you can do about it, unless you want to break out the grinder/polisher and put your toy at risk...

The discomfort from the handle is probably an edge that pokes at your skin. You could polish it, or you could try putting something soft over it to make things a bit smoother (remember the kids with braces who had the wax?). Wax, the liquid stuff that you can dip tool handles in, something like that might help there. I don't think a condom is thick enough.

I have the same problem with the "poking" and the handle in regards to my Pure Plug 2.0.

Does anyone else have these issues?

Hi, No the the first problem. It really is not an issue with me. I twist it around all the time.

Yes to the second, but it seems to matter less with time. Maybe my cheeks are just getting callused. I am either going to grid the lower part of the handle or coat it with silicon to soften the edge if it keeps bothering me. But it looks like the uncomfortable sensation from the edge is going away on its own.
