I started with silicone and now prefer the N Joy stainless plugs. They do cost more but worth it. Doesn't retain odors, debris, easier to clean and should last a lifetime. You have to try different ones to find what you like the most. Everyone's anatomy is different. The weight of the NJ pure plugs also give added sensations. Also I've found one can wear the kidney shapes much longer than the long pointed plugs. Of course glass is easy to maintain and less expensive than stainless. less
