New to anal toys, not new to anal

Contributor: RTC RTC
My partner and I engage in anal somewhat often and are very comfortable with it. We usually prep with fingers and it's usually only a matter of 5 minutes before i'm ready (sorry if that's TMI!). I was wondering what butt plug would be best? Should I still start out with something small? And what would be best for easier prepping?

Any suggestions or tips to help me narrow the search would be appreciated!

I'd say start with something similar in diameter to what you're used to. Going small won't have much of a benefit.

For prepping I'd say stick with what you do - seems like that works.

Check out the Bootie by Fun Factory, its small but not too small and made of silicone. It has a nice base that fits between the cheeks too.

I guess the best thing is to start with smaller dildo like the:

Blush UR3 Anal Starter

or a silicone alternative:
Sedeux Please

To grow up I'd suggest:
Pure Skin Player jr

The silicone alternative is:
VIP Super Soft

For Butt Plugs:

The best training of all times (after you grow out of the beginners toys):
Triple Ripple

Best Butt Plug (I guess many will agree):
Ryder

And finally my personal favorite among plugs:
Gapers Organic

Generally speaking that's my product advice. For lubes you have to look for yourself what suits you more. Just don't use silicone lube on silicone toys, it really kills them. The rest as usual, hygiene, foreplay, foreplay, lube -> and plenty of fun

Get silicone - don't waste your time with porous materials.

These new plugs caught my eye:
Mood-medium
Mood-large
They're silicone, inexpensive and seems to be well received. People seem to like the base, especially. I think the larger size would be more suitable for your needs.

Get something that is similar to his cock girth.

Depends on how she feels about that - if she wants more than go bigger, if she'd like a stepping stone then go a bit smaller.
