I usually prefer to use a water based lube for anal and was just curious what your experience has been for using spit. Does it work? I can wear a plug for a few hours with lube but was wondering if spit would have the same result. Anyone?!

Don't try to use just spit. If you're with a partner and you like them to spit they can still do that but definitely use lube, too.

Spit just dries too fast to much of anything for us. WE have tried. No go.

Spit =/= lube, it dries quickly and is virtually useless

Spit is also very inconsistent. Some times it will work, kind of - other times it's too runny, not there, or just not slick. Best to stick with lube whenever possible.

Lube. Spit is only for dire situations when nothing else is available... in my opinion.

Please don't use spit! It dries up way faster than even the cheapest of lubes - and having an unlubricated object in your butt is just asking for disaster.

When I was reviewing a Pure Plug, I used spit instead of lube just to test my theory that it would work (the Pure Plug is made of suuuuper nonporous steel and requires significantly less lube than a silicone toy). After an hour, removal was uncomfortable. I don't recommend it with any kind of anal toy.
