I've been looking at the steel plugs... let me find a link... Pure Plug or the Icicles No.14 but not sure about either yet...

While I do like a nice silicone toy, I much prefer harder materials, Stainless and glass are my top two. Better/firmer stimulation.

You probably should have put silicon as a choice.

I'm partial to NJoy stainless steel, perfect design.
I like glass also but have trouble finding one with a decent base.

i need to remember to do that! i've never tried a silicone toy so i think that's maybe why i keep forgetting to put it as a choice (call me self absorbed but cute). lol sorry luv xx

Silicone, steel, and glass, in that order.

I haven't found many glass plugs that are small enough in my size range and without scary bases or worries.

I will say that my Pfun and my Pure Medium get more use than my silicone, but, I love silicone too.

The Pure Plug has a better base for being out of the way, and I think the Icicles is at least as big as the large Pure Plug (if not bigger...). But the handle of the Pure Plug is a little small for getting fingers through the loop (I have no problem getting a grip, but some might?). And I love nJoy's boxes!

All my plugs are silicone and I love them. I do plan to try glass and steel (the Pure Plug Medium is high on my wishlist) but as of now silicone alone is grand.

I like glass a lot also, but stainless steel takes the cake for me. It is deliciously heavy, smooth, and slick. The toys made by Njoy are absolutely wonderful. They all come in sturdy and attractive boxes which are perfect for storage. Their pure plug is my favorite anal plug. It comes in many different sizes ideal for beginners through more advanced users. The Njoy fun wand is one of my all time favorite toys. One end is great for Gspot/vaginal play, and the other side has three beads of gradually increasing size perfect for anal/prostate stimulation. I can't recommend these toys enough!

I adore glass toys. However, you have to enjoy the feeling of fullness as glass toys don’t "give". Also if you let a partner use them on you make sure they go easy until you are used to it. Glass toys feel incredibly slick, and lube tends to last longer with these toys as they (usually) have a smooth surface and are non porous. I personally think everyone should give glass toys a try. I found I prefer stainless steal and glass to most other materials now because I love the sensation they give me.

I love skin feeling or silicone. Glass is ok.

I'm very picky about the material from which a toy is made. Silicone and glass are my top two because they're the safest and generally easy to thoroughly clean. As far as what kind of toy, I like something that can be left in and will stay put easily, or something I can lower myself onto it.
