Oil based lube I have used water and silicone based lube, but never oil based lube. Does it have a different feel? Can anyone share their experiences using it...
Prostate Massage First Timer I wanted to post this to maybe gain some insight into how to properly go about prostate massage with my partner.
We tried it this past weekend and.
Spotlight on Jopen Vanity (and contest)! This week's Spotlight is going to be on the Vanity by Jopen series. I don't know if you've seen them around, but they're vibrators that are...
Are you inquiring as to whether or not a finger is long enough to reach the prostate? I looked it up and found this information:
"You should be able to feel your prostate about two inches in and toward your belly. It is often a walnut-shaped bump. Some men will know when they are touching it, others won’t notice much at all."
The location can also vary slightly based on any individual's anatomy (like finding a g-spot on a woman). My boyfriend's prostate gland is a little higher inside him than some others but I can still reach it with just a finger. You may want to try different positions while using the toy or even a little bit of motion. Rocking back and forth a little is a popular method of trying to hit it properly for some men, while my boyfriend actually prefers contracting his muscles around the toy.
you should be ok with the Graduate...BUT(T)...be careful because it's not flared. True, it is bent, but it could still get sucked up if you're not careful.
how do you think? which one is better for prostate stimulation? vibrator or curved dildo?
In terms of the men I've been with, dildo always wins. But everyone is different and it's a matter of what you find works best for you. All of the Aneros prostate massagers get AMAZING reviews:
Our favorite (well, his favorite...I just put it in) is the cyberglass perfect p-spot but it's not available here just yet - hopefully it will be soon! link
A good curved dildo is like a sledgehammer to the smaller toy's tack hammers . It's hard to miss with a dildo.
You can usually find your prostate easier when you're very excited, especially when you're near orgasm. It gets much firmer, and you'll feel it as a pronounced bump in the front of the rectum (towards the penis). Fingers should be plenty long, otherwise it would have been noted in medical literature.
I have the bent graduate, and I use it sometimes to get right at my prostate. It finds it very well and I have had some pretty awesome orgasms as a result. As to the toy getting sucked in...I really don't think so, the curve makes that an unlikely event no matter which end you are using. It would be very painful to put that thing in deep enough to actually risk it getting sucked up. Just because a toy lacks a flared base doesn't necessarily make it dangerous for anal use.

Yep, as you pointed out there are other design features that make it unlikely or impossible for some toys to get lost. Curves, length, funny kinks - they all work.
