Which anal toy would be best for a beginner

Contributor: PropertyOfPotter PropertyOfPotter 06/21/2012

My husband isn't totally new to using anal toys, but we haven't done much and it's been a long time. I want to get him something that will excite him, but not break my bank if it doesn't. These are the two I'm looking at. Which of these would you pick and why, or is there a different one that would work better? Thanks in advance!

I'm not really sure. But my fiance wanted to try a prostate massager so I got the Naughty Boy for him, if you are looking for something that will stay in without being held, it isn't the one you want.

What about one of the Nexus G-Plays (medium, large) or, if vibration doesn't matter, the Pfun or Bob?

If the price of the Pfun puts you off, assuming you're okay with anal, you can also use it as a woman. I love my Pfun.

Consider the Cheeky boy by Rocks Off or the Aneros Progasm by Aneros. These are all priced at $60. Any of the Aneros products are great!

I think you should look at the aneros products. I hear good things about them.

Guess I'll be the first to vote for the Get a Grip. The Naughty boy is nice and all but it can be pokey and may not be comfortable for all body types. Plus I have not had the best luck with the vibe, the cap likes to come off when trying to pull it out or it strips when tightening the cap.

Get a Grip allows better control due to the handle and better vibes placed where you want them.

One I might suggest looking at is the G-play Medium. It does pretty good at staying in and targets the prostate pretty good.

Either would probably be fine for a beginner. If it were me I would say Naughty Boy because it starts very small and works up to the girth it has. He could just work with the narrow bit until he became more comfortable with it then work up the to rest of it over time. Only one way to find out
