I want to get a new butt plug, but I can only get one. Between these two, which one would you recommend? FYI: I'm looking for something that will stay put during intercourse, and also be large/filling enough to adequately prepare me for anal sex. I like that the N'Joy is steel, which is good for temp play and has a nice weight to it, but the Jolly Roger has that nice texture.. Decisions, decisions!

Personally I would choose the Pure Plug Large if it was my choice between the 2. The silicone one just seems so much and would be out lived fairly quickly. But then again if you are a beginner, the pure plug large would most likely not be a good starting choice.

I have the small and medium Njoy plugs - although they are very comfortable to wear - it just takes a small amount of lube to get them inside - I don't see them as good preparation for anal sex. The necks are so small as to be almost non existent.

I don't know about the other toy you suggested - but that wouldn't be my first choice. As a recent beginner to anal play I'd suggest you look for the following:

A tapered front-end - the Jolly Jack is too abrupt
Something that has a max of 1" 'peak' to start with - then I moved up to 1.5"
Then the taper should be about 50% of the peak diameter
I also like one with vibes - but it isn't a must

If you like silicone
The Pleasure Plug 2link and B Bomb link look like a good beginner plugs.

I like glass and there are plenty of those out there - happy hunting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about the Njoy--it doesn't look like it's long or even thick enough to prepare for anal sex. FWIW, I'm not exactly new to anal play. I have the Lil' End butt plug (which I very quickly outgrew, but still use as a warmup-the problem is it slips out way too easily) and I also use the Gold Laced G, a glass dildo, anally. I don't think the round end on the Jolly Jack would bother me at this stage in the game. I'm just concerned that, like the Lil' End, it might slip out during use.

The Pure Plug worked for me as an anal prep toy, and it'll definitely stay put during DP.

I have the Njoy. It is a great toy. It's easy to retain, but I don't think it will do much to prepare you for anal sex.

I do not own the Jolly Jack, but due to the size and shape of it's neck, it also looks like it will stay put.

These are both nice toys. Good luck and have fun!

I have the pure plug medium and recently I got the pure plug large. I love em both. The medium seems to move around a little more inside of me then the large, but both are a great.
Not really sure about the Jollyjack. Never owned one.

Njoy makes other versionsof plugs than those too

and i found that my favorite position for anal was me on top. That way i could control the penetration, speed, all of that. worked great!

Sadly we can't do it much since after the birth of our 2nd daughter i got a hemorrhoid

If you want a plug that's good to leave in and stimulating then go with the nJoy. The downside is that it might not be as good for anal warmup - with the Jolly Jack you can do some thrusting and leave the anus opened up to the "body" width for a while.

For warmup there's always fingers, though.

As much as I love Happy Valley, the firmness of their silicone isn't great for butts. I find their anal toys really uncomfortable. The Pure Plugs, on the other hand, are flawless.
