I have been wondering lately about anal. I've had anal sex before, but to me, it didn't really feel all that great and I wanna start exploring that area of pleasure.
I have my eye on a couple toys, and I wanna know which would be best to start out with.

I think both can be great for first time anal. My very first toy was a glass dildo, and it felt wonderful. I think you can go with glass the first time, just make sure you use lube

Look at the Tantus Ripple or similar toys. Same basic shape but flexible.

Fingers are another great first butt toy.

If it have had anal sex before, then something more solid might be a good place to begin exploring, but if you aren't comfortable, use soften toys, or fingers to begin with.

I like the looks of the plugs Ryuson mentioned. I haven't tried them, but they look nice and they have silicone.

For your first time the Emerald explorer is probably perfect just because it has the large ring so it's easy to manipulate. And it looks more beginner friendly. The sapphire falls looks really interesting but not great for first time anal play

The plugs Ryson linked may be a good first try.

I also like the Plug Der Lust Small for beginners, although you may outgrow it eventually, as I did.

The Love Pacifier in Small is a good silicone plug also, in a nice teardrop shape. The handle of this toy is firmer than the one on the Plug Der Lust, so you won't fold over if you push too hard on it after outgrowing it. I've had mine for a long time and still really love it.

I think Emerald is made of generic Pyrex (borosilicate).

I have to second the Tantus Ripple. I have the smaller version. When you get used to that, you can work up to their larger one.

If you are set on glass the the explorer because it has a better base, but overall I would suggest something like the Ripple or Groove.

coming from someone who just tried the beaded like the ones above...beaded does feel better. Go with the Emerald Explorer...it's straight and has a good handle.
