Best dildos for partner use?

Contributor: Polyserena Polyserena
Just wondering what dildos people find easy to use on their partners/comfortable for their partners to use on them etc. I don't want to use the dildo in a harness, so if you could let me know your experiences guiding them by hand that would be great!

Just a couple I'm considering getting are: Fun Factory Magnum or Bandito, Sinfive burgono, Tantus Silk large (but obviously willing to consider others)

What features of a dildo should I look for?

Cheers

I think a VixSkin product link would be absolutely perfect for partner play (not to mention loads of fun for solo use as well!). VixSkin is the most incredible silicone that I have ever had the privilege of fondling. VixSkin dildos are constructed of dual silicone: a firmer inner silicone core with a softer, squishier outer layer. They feel very close to how a real penis feels -- and they are completely sterilizable (something which cannot be said for any other lifelike material). VixSkin products are a bit pricey, but they are worth every penny and they have a lifetime guarantee!

VixSkin silicone is so plushy soft that the learning curve is minimal -- which means that you are less likely to end up with a bruised cervix after your play session. For partner play, I suggest choosing a model with a less pronounced head, as a pronounced head can sometimes catch on the pubic bone when thrusting at the wrong angle.

I am currently awaiting delivery of the VixSkin Raquel (which is 1.5" in diameter). I think this dildo would be absolutely perfect for partner play! I currently have the VixSkin Johnny (1 7/8" diameter) and I love it for solo sessions, but this might be a bit large for partner play (plus it has a more pronounced, ridged head). Luckily, there are several VixSkin models of varying lengths and diameters from which to choose; so, just like Goldilocks, you should be able to find something that fits you just right!

Also, I think the Vibratex Silky link would be great for partner play (and, again, for solo sessions as well). I have the Silky and I positively adore it. As a matter of fact, my motivation for purchasing my VixSkin Johnny stemmed from my deep love of my Vibratex Silky. I wanted to get another plush dildo with a slightly larger circumference. Like VixSkin, the elastomer of the Silky is "squishably" soft and very realistic, almost like a real penis (however, it is not sterilizable, though this is not a problem if you do not share your dildos).

Despite the plushy feel, both dildos (the VixSkin Johnny and the Vibratex Silky -- and, as far as I know, the VixSkin Raquel) hold their shape well and do not droop. The Silky has an adjustable inner spine that allows you change the curve of the dildo to your liking (and it holds whatever shape you choose during use, which is awesome!).

Both the Silky and the Johnny are great for G-spotting and general thrusting. I have heard the same about the Raquel.

Oh, and I forgot to add that all the dildos I just described in my "book" above have a substantial base for your partner to grasp to make thrusting and maneuvering easier!

Thanks for all the info! Your 'book' has been really helpful and has given me lots to think about . I haven't tried vixskin before, but it looks like I really need to! Vixskin seems to cover all the bases!

Look at the base, since that's what you're going to be holding on to. Depending on how you're going to use it you might also want to look at the "probe" type handles - for instance the Tantus G-Force (link - it says anal but also works well vaginally). Another good base is the Fun Factory triangular base, such as is used on the Magnum and Tiger (very easy to hold link). On other ones it depends on how you're going to hold it. A large, firm circular base might work very well, unless you like to hold the dildo over the base and have smaller hands, so think about that part.

Beyond that just make sure you get something long enough. Short dildos are harder to maneuver.
