So, I absolutely love the look of Dichroic Glass Dildos. They're gorgeous and always have pretty spirals. (If you're curious, just type in "dichroic" into EF's search engine.)

However, from what I can see, most of them rarely drop under a $150 price tag. Especially Prince Valiant which is over $300 but amazingly gorgeous, and I want. So my question is: What makes Dichroic Glass Toys so freakin' expensive? I'm curious.

I'm not entirely sure but my best guess would be because of how complicated it is to make and work with. I know jewelry artists who make dichroic glass pieces and the process of getting the desired look, and working with the layers of metals within the glass is tedious and expensive.

I've wondered that myself, I'm glad you posted this question - I've never seen a dildo made of dichroic glass I didn't like!
