Back in college my buddies and I used a tuba cleaner on a string to clean out our three story tall beer bong. It worked pretty well for that, so I'm sure that a flute one could work for this tube.

A brush would be a good idea because residue can build up with a biological film unless you use very strong cleaners.

I thought the "L" and "XL" sizes for just for show, but then I saw the video linked above . Thankfully, BD makes "S" though I think the term is relative.
