It seems like it would be if you had worked up to the size. Unfortunately it's out of stock on Eden and on closeout sale on Tantus's website, so it might be one of the one's that they're discontinuing.

It really depends on the person receiving. I used this toy vaginally, and to me the head was uncomfortably large. I go into more detail in my review.

If, as Ryuson said, it has been discontinued you may want to consider the Tantus Tsunami.

Having tried both Echo and their new Tsunami, I would suggest you try the Tsunami instead. The head is a little more gradual.

If you're looking for an anal dildo I'd recommend staying away from any highly textured dildos until you really know your ass and can keep it relaxed at will. On a dildo such as the Echo (or the Fun Factory Tiger), clenching down while thrusting can easily get to be too much.

I find that the Echo's base is really flimsy. I wouldn't trust it for anal.

I wouldn't recommend for anal. Even though it's silicone the ridges and girth would make this toy difficult to use anally unless you're very experienced and know you can handle that kind of experience. I'd recommend working up to it.

I got this thinking I would use it for anal, but it's just a little too big. I got the Tantus Acute and was much happier with the size of that one. Only downside is that it didn't vibrate.

I do think that you'd have to work up to it. Try the acute or curve first. Maybe even the charmer to see how you handle the rippled. The tsunami looks big though, so I personally wouldn't recommend that one.
