I like the visual side but the weight of glass is wonderful. The sturdiness also means glass pieces will last you a lifetime (unless you drop them). So they are a great investment.

I love the safety, the feel, the weight, the touch, the hardness, the versatile temperature, and the looks. I buy it for all the reasons there are reasons. It's my favorite material.

Well that is a lie. Mainly because of how it looks. Glass I cannot seem to control myself with it. I seem to buy it for looks alone and thankfully, I rarely don't like something!!!
