What are glass toys like and are there differences between inexpensive and expensive ones? Why such a different $ gap?

How can I make my glass toy better?
I have the Sunrise's frosted head G-Spot Wonder and those little bumps on the shaft hurt. Is it just my body or is there any way I can make this toy..

Which is the best glass dildo for a first time glass user?
I am looking into expanding my toy collection with a glass toy, but I have never had one before. I am curious to see what others think might be a good

these reviews are great, but are the more expensive glass dildos really worth it in comparison?

Do You Like Glass Plugs?
Still fairly new to anal but I keep coming across some really fun looking glass plugs. What is your opinion on them? Fun? Better than silicon/rubber?

Smooth glass or textured?
Which one do you prefer and why?

Glass, unlike any other toys, are simply....SMOOTH as GLASS, when lubed up. A really unique feel. Unlike STEEL, which is also neat, glass quickly matches body temp, so you have a pure feeling of "full".

I love my glass dildos and my glass plugs.

There IS a huge...VERY huge price difference and I honestly cannot see why. Yes, the expensive stuff can be fancier (nice inclusions like flowers INSIDE or a pretty jewel on the base of my plug), and the expensive ones are finished much nicer in terms of no bubbles inside. However, glass is glass and so for a "first try" toy, get something not so pricey till you KNOW what you like.

My hubby tends to buy the expensive stuff first (yes he spoils me), but he things if it COST a lot more, it "must be better", but that isn't always the case.

Enjoy!!!!

Price has to do with how it is made. Now, for the most part all glass is hand made, much like you will see and artisan making. One of the big difference comes it just how much "Hand" work is involved. Some of the cheaper variety is pulled from the kiln and then placed in a mold to give it its shape. Others actually mold/form the glass as they go by hand using the tools of the trade. As such, the more handling from the artisan will mean a higher price. It also means that no two will be an exact replica of another, even though the lesser priced toy will slightly differ too.

I will agree with Bignuf in that for a first glass toy you should go with the cheaper variate (Don't worry, the quality is still good) until you see if you like glass toys.

I love glass. I am very new to any type of toys and when i tried glass I was totally blown away. I agree with the other two posts for your first whirl I would not spend a lot of $.

For us we simply looked at the style we thought would be most suited for g spot stimulation. then found a nice mid range piece. For us it was the Icicle #18 Amazing toy. honestly. It felt firmer and thicker then the other toy we tryed. It was incredible at how smooth and slick it feels.

another factor with glass is temp. play, this is real exciteing to experiment with.

Hope this helps a bit.

Some glass toys are handmade and require a lot of work and artistry. Others are mass-produced.

I have a mass-produced ribbed glass dildo which was really cheap ($28ish) because of the way it was made, and I haven't noticed any difference in quality compared to the handmade ones, except that it's not as exciting-looking.
