We modified a reciprocating saw to fit a hollow dildo. We attached the appropriate size dowel to the end of the clipped blade and put the dildo over it. It's really powerful, very hard to control and a ton of fun. No one was injured, but my husband is an engineer so I strongly recommend not doing this unless you know exactly how a recip. saw works.

I don't see rotation as the preferred action - something that thrusts like the Fucking Machine videos would be interesting, but my wife would not go for it. She loves the way I thrust her dildos because I can vary the speed and depth dynamically in response to her level of arousal and body language.

That being said, I have done this and it worked pretty good. What I did was to weld a metal rod to a saw blade that I ground the teeth off. I drilled a small hole in the dil and forced the rod inside. It slipped a bit during use but otherwise was fine. The hard part is holding the saw yourself, best when used with a partner.
A drill type toy would be much easier to use/make. Here you could use a hardwood dowel and use kitchen safe silicone caulk to glue it into the dil.
For either one I would recommend using a silicone dil, the firmness will help hold it onto the dowel, blade.

Fill the dildo with caulking and insert the adapter from above. The ammount will be trial and error depending on your toy. When inserting the adapter, caulking will "expand" a little, so keep a few paper towels or damp rags arround. Top off dildo with caulking by inserting nozzle into the base. Then let it dry. This could take up to a week. The more time the better to really let it set. Any drill should do. But a drill with more rpm in the specs will spin faster. Lithium battery would be best. Play safe and have fun. Just finnished mine now to break the ice with the wife to try it out. Best of luck to us all! F@#% paying $100 for the adapters they sell. I did my own for like $25.
