Looking for a (safe) replacement

Contributor: Valyn Valyn
Okay, so I have a slim jelly dil that I'm looking to replace. It's one of my favorites, because it's small and I like how flexible it is. [link]

Because this was one of my first toys, I didn't use it with a condom, and now I'm worried about getting an infection from it.

If anyone knows of something similar, but safer, I'd appreciate it.

The things I'm looking for are:
- body safe (I think sterilizable would be best)
- slim (I guess about an inch wide)
- nice feel (maybe a tiny bit flexible? Soft? Idunno)

Thank you!

I highly recommend the Tantus Compact or the Tantus Small Silk. Both very small dildos with bases, and the Compact has some great texture to it. They're also pure silicone, so they're easy to sterilize.

That's what I was going to recommend. I have the Tantus Compact and it is very soft + very flexible

I will third the Tantus recommendations and say that their O2's have a nice give to them. Definitely check out the Tantus lines

I'd recommend the Tantus Small silk for sure. I don't think it's as long as what you have in your picture, but it is only a 1" width.

On a side note, jelly is probably the most flexible material they make insertable dildos out of. If you decide to go silicone/TPR - don't be surprised that they are a bit stiffer.

Yeah, I know.. I have some silicone toys that are stiffer, but oh well. Health > flexibility..

I wonder if any of the Fun Factory dildos are as pliable as some of their vibes?

Yeah, the Tantus Small Silk is great, but not as long as the one you would like to replace. You may want to consider the Whirly, from Fun Factory. It has spots which are wider, but it's not wider all the way through. It is definitely more pliable and softer than the Silk (I have both).

Vixen Creation's silicone seems to be one of the softer formulations out there, so you might want to look into a smaller dildo from Vixen. My Vixen toys are noticeably softer than my Tantus, Orphoria or Fun Factory toys. I've heard great things about O2/Vixskin, but because of the way they're made all of the dildos will be on the midrange to large size (~1.5" diameter). The Tantus toys listed aren't that much stiffer, though, but Vixen's seem squishier.

Since you know you like toys and a specific type of toy, I'd strongly encourage silicone over TPR./TPE. Cleanliness is a good thing, and silicone can be kept clean.

I guess I am addicted to the Vixen line. For me, they have more five then Tantus and feel so much like the real thing. And being silicone, they are so easy and safe to care for.
I still keep one jelly toy, just for happy memories...

The Fun Factory dildo that I have was surprisingly soft and flexible. So far, more so than any other silicone toy I own.

I have the O2 Niagara. To me it is quite slim at 1.5 in diameter. The texture is nice. It is firm inside and is still flexible and soft to the touch. It seems slimmer than it's measurements because it has so much give to it.

I also have experience with a couple of different Vixen products. To me, they feel more realistic than the O2, but only on surface touch.

They both have a firmer inner core with a softer outer layer. Both have flexibility that I don't see in my other Tantus or Happy Valley silicone dildos - which are all silicone.
