I'm curious if a good massage oil is a safe and good lubrication for Sensafirm and similar products? First I'm curious if oil can ruin this type of product. And second, I'm wondering if the oil might be a good idea as a barrier to germs since this is considered a very porous material.

I honestly don't think using oil with such a porous material would be a good idea; it would probably be extremely difficult to clean the toy afterward. The EF guide says to use only water-based lubricants with Sensafirm.

Thanks! I couldn't find where it said what can be used. I did read in a few reviews and one thread that silicone was ok. But since it does have some silicone in it, I'm not going to chance it.

The place where is says to only use water based lubricants is here: link
It also says it is a TPE variation which means it might not have silicone in it, but you are correct, if it does, then it is best to be safe and just avoid silicone lube completely.
