There is no difference for me, I use everything the same, whether I am getting regular sex, or not.

I will say that I am a mostly hetero cisfemale, so for me, "getting sex " means penis in vagina, PIV. Of course, that will differ based on orientation/preference s.

I also don't usually thrust my insertion toys, I rock and play with my clit, either with fingers or vibes. However, with a real penis, I enjoy thrusting, go figure. I mix it up depending on my mood, using external only, or combining external with internal stimulation. But, I dislike fingers inside me, always have, so toys are what I use internally. (No, I've never used anything else besides toys, no household items, never have, never will.)

There is no correlation I can see between how I masturbate and the amount of PIV sex I have. Though it's an interesting question.
