Need an affordable harness that stays in place!

I'm a beginner looking for a good harness to use my hot lesbian girlfriend. I purchased the Flame kit and were very disappointed in the quality of the harness. It has nylon straps and plastic buckles that NEVER stay in place! It was really hard to start a good rhythm, let alone be able to really get into it. Plus, the nylon straps start to dig in. The harness kit had 4 stars, so it seemed like a good purchase. Now I'm looking at the leather Ulti-mate harness since it has leather straps and D-ring buckles. Any other recommendations under $50? Personal stories of harness that really stay in place?

I'm on small side so the size of the harness isn't a concern--although I would prefer one that doesn't come with yards of nylon webbing for leg straps...

I would appreciate any advice--thanks!

I don't own any harnesses yet but people seem to swear by the SpareParts joque harness. It's out of your price range but maybe you should look at it anyway; it might just be worth the investment. It's machine washable and waterproof in case you want to try some fun in the shower!

If you can stretch the $ a bit the Aslan Commando seems to be pretty well liked. I have a different Aslan harness, and can say that they're very well made. The SpareParts stuff is good too.

I haven't had a problem with the Sportsheets ones, but sounds like you have.

I bought my first harness on the cheap and was not only disappointed but I was turned off on strap-on play for awhile.
I have both the Aslan Jaguar and the Spare Parts Jock. Both are awesome!
I too am a thin girl, a good harness is even more important for stability on a smaller woman. On the Jaguar, once I used it a few times, I cut the extra strapping off, with the Spare Parts the extra fits around your waist, may sound uncomfortable but it isn't.
For vigorous hands free thrusting you need stability. Nothing is more annoying then ongoing adjustments.
