#AskEden - Phthalate Free PVC vs PVC

Doc Johnson's Made in the USA TitanMen line is currently on sale and I noticed something about the material.

TitanMen Francois Sagat realistic cock – realistic dildo is listed as PVC, with a safety rating of 2.

Titanmen David Anthony – realistic dildo is listed as Phthalate Free PVC, with a safety rating of 8.

The difference would seem to be the phthalates, however when you go into a comparison of the two products, the safety features for the François Sagat one says, "Anti-bacterial property / Latex free / Phthalates free"

Is there an error? Why the big difference in safety rating?

Interesting observation.

I took this to the Product Manager for his input.

look at toys w/ the same material to see their ratings, 2 or 8? Should see one pop up more than other

I noticed that too. Seems it hasn't changed yet. From what I've read, toys made with PVC legally can be listed as pthalates free even when they're not really. I'd have to find the article again I read that in.
